The post wasn't read on ESPN radio, it was read on the Chris and Jason show. There is a difference. When I think ESPN radio, I think Cowherd, Scott Van Pelt show, and so on and so forth.
If you're talking Chris and Jason, then you're talking the Zone.
And how can anyone listen to those guys. I haven't been able to listen to local programming in a while so I finally got a chance and turned on Taylor. It was okay considering it's a slow sports time. So then I turned to Chris and Jason during a commercial, and god they suck.
Terrible, just terrible. I used to be able to tolerate Jason, and now I think he's just bad. Not quite as bad as Duel, but bad.

It's about ratings, and the best way to get your message across is to not listen. Not listening means lower ratings.
If I'm not mistaken, Taylor still has higher ratings and Chris and Jason. People are speaking, even if they're not calling in.

You've got lots of choices on the radio dial, and I respect that.
The late, great Andrew Ashwood explained to me when I got into radio that the impressions of listeners is like a bell curve. 20% will really like you, 20% will really hate you and the big 60% is somewhere in the middle.
I know I'll never win over the 20% who hate what I do. That's the nature of the beast. All we can do is the best show we know how to do. Some will like it, some will hate it and some will be somewhere in the middle.

I've only felt that way one time. I told a friend of mine that I hoped he got laid a lot when he moved to Arizona (we were in high school). Then some lady on front of my with her back to me turned around, and looked exactly like him.
Her response, "That's not a good thing to say in front of his mother."
I saw posts by Duel in here. I figured he was on board. I'd imagine he can take some criticism because if he can't, he's in the wrong business.
