unfortunately i think Finley will be a starter next year. Mason will be coming off the bench.

No. Mason will start like he did last season and instead of Finley starting at the three, we have Jefferson.

And when I said I'd have nightmares seeing him start at 2 again, I'm speaking about prior to last season when Bowen started at 3 and Finley started at 2. Last year because of Bowen's decreased role, Finley took over at 3. :bang

no. i mean that Manu will be the sixth man. and Mason would be put into the 3rd string SG or the Barry role. But you're right Mason will start but I have a feeling we'll see Finley start a few games cause he's effective when he starts unfortunately just like Mason.

Finley is effectively done by either trade or if kept just with Jefferson and Mason's presence. The only way Finley gets any sort of minutes is if a trade goes down that involves Mason and not Finley. If both are here, Finley take their backup's backup role. I.E. the Steve Smith/Steve Kerr role.

Finley got the minutes because of necessity. There is no necessity now that would even warrant 10 minutes a game.

Honestly after watching as little footage as there was...if we have to count on Ian at all we are gonna be in trouble. He is going to be thrown around easily. Hill and Blair looked like the only guys worthy of being on an NBA roster.
