The foreshadowing of an All-Star Spur.
yup. that's about when I became a Spur fan. thanks to Manu
btw, any chance we can resign Claxton?
:)
I miss Speedy and his one dunk...
I didn't know Ginobli debuted against the Lakers, same as D Rob. I hope Blair debuts against LA, it seems to be a good omen.
Danny Ferry from downtown!! What a suck ass.:lol
The announcer said that Manu told him that when he elevated himself to dunk; his ankle bothered him. So he has had ankle problems since he first came into the NBA,
I remember watching this game. I had the same feeling about Manu as a rookie as I do for Blair. I the gut instinct is right.
It isn't like he dominated like this guy

Serious air time for Manu! Wahoo!
Marv Albert needs to learn Spanish...
"On June 27, Bass made Elliott, a two-time All-America at Arizona, the third pick in the draft. Elliott, who is 6'8", was almost sure the Los Angeles Clippers, who had the second choice, were going to take him and trade him. But as one general manager said, "Nobody can ever figure out what the Clippers are going to do."
LOL, laughing stock of the league for decades.
i forget the line Drob put up for his first game(ironically against the Lakers too), but I rememeber walking away from that game in awe. Anyone who wasn't completely floored and excited after that was not a fan dude!
Wow, Robinson had 17 rebounds, but more impressive I believe, is that in his final game ever, he also had 17 rebounds. If I remember correctly.
This year with the Clippers on the clock, everyone was sure that Blake Griffin was the one. I remember saying, "Yeah, he should be the first pick, but with the Clippers, you never know."
When I read that line in the article, I just smiled and thought, "Even back then..."
What I want to know is, why does the video have the ESPN logo on the top right corner, but TNT's score and logo on the bottom right corner?
