Hey, I am in that number, and still completely agree.
If a man thinks he has something worthwhile to offer, let him prove himself 1000 times before granting him the right to express it. If what he has to say is worthy, we will say it was worth the wait...if not, then we saved ourselves the hassle of calling him an imbecile.

I do not think there should be a post limit. I am a patient guy and help out as much as I can normally because I went through some of the same stuff. But at least read the first page and see if there is a topic discussing what you want.
Some new people do not know how to use the search function, especially if it is their first time being part of an online forum. But at least look on the first page.

Don;t get me wrong we have been blessed to have 1 post users break news and add awesome perspective etc... some of them insiders too... but still getting to know the game a little better before coaching makes sense... that's all... i truly wouldn't like to be on the mods shoes all day...

Now how silly is that? IF it's so bad, just don't post in it and let it die because you also take alot of the responsibility of letting a lame thread stay active.

OK I think that about covers it from my perspective. I think aholes with too many damn posts needs to get a life and quit hassling those of us that do, so there.

It makes the forum difficult to read and pushes good threads off the page. Not to mention (if you do it in a reasonably polite way) it helps to let people know what they are doing is wrong.
I agree if a topic is stupid or inflammatory (but there are no others like it), just do not post in it and let it die. But when there are multiple threads on the same subject one after another, someone has to say a little something so the forum learns.

I was not rude to you. I just showed you that very similar topics existed on the first page. So you were lying essentially to cover up a mistake. You did not even bother to look on the first page. No big deal.
Didn't you post this exact "thread" as a post in one of the other threads? Why then would you start a new thread?

Again, my opinion about what is a different angle worthy of starting a thread is as valid as anybody else's. I appreciate your point, and I am aware of it. However, I took that into account before daring to start a thread.
As far as Spurs contacts, yes I have them. Am I actively using them right now? No. Regardless, most people do not and I don't think any less of them for it. People without Spurs inside info have every right to start a thread, in fact it makes this place better.
