Re: Manu or S Jax, who would you rather have?
Rancher comes on instantly calling me names, and I need to grow up. Priceless. Perhaps you need to look in the mirror. You threw the first stone "amigo." Can't stay gone from an imbecilic thread, why not? Have to keep coming back to get the last word. I can laugh as well at how many like you come out of the woodwork.
Stupid thread, how dare you! Please. You made your point, Jax is a loose cannon we don't want back. Fine, I don't disagree, why do all the bickering and potshots have to come with that reasonable opinion?

Let's repost your first response here, before ANYONE had started the name-calling:

Any consolation I have posted under a different ID, so it is higher than the total you saw that is so all important. My allegiance to the Spurs goes back to the Iceman era, ya turd. I have attended games since the 70s.
Now does anybody have anything more intelligent to say than this idiot faggot urunobili? LOL
Yeah. Interesting.

Jack is a big game player. As much as Northside gives all the credit for the Game 6 comeback win in the 2003 WCF to lil' Stevie Kerr, it was Jack who brought them back from the dead before Kerr hit a few treys. Lest we forget Jack's performance in Game 6 of the '03 Finals.

really its just a post not a big deal, but ginobili isnt going anywhere as long as he plays with the passion he has
Re: Manu or S Jax, who would you rather have?
by the way guys why is it every one from the spurs org. always turns around and tries to hate on the spurs as soon as their done with them? kerr, avery mike brown, ferry, list goes on, ive come to the conclusion that theyre jealous and really are upset that they were just role players even role players as far as coaching
Re: Manu or S Jax, who would you rather have?
That's actually a great question - couldn't have won in 03 without Jax, couldn't have won in 05 without Manu... however, Manu does things that I've never seen any other balla do, he's won at every level, and seeing him on a basketball court invariably brightens my day. Jax is clutch, but he also takes some horrendous shots and is usually either wonderful or horrible, little in between.
No disrespect to Jax, but I'd take Manu every day and twice on Sundays. The guy is a winner and never thinks about anything but how he can help his team to win. (He also took less to stay here, whilst Jax ran away for more money, when at the time he didn't necessarily deserve much more than he was offered).
Re: Manu or S Jax, who would you rather have?
Manu is a more efficient player. He scores points and makes an impact while playing fewer minutes and taking less shots.
Re: Manu or S Jax, who would you rather have?
hmm this is actually one of the best questions asked in here for awhile. This is crazy hard to say. I would say years before 07 the spurs couldn't have done as well without gino (after jax left) and putting jax in his place. BUT, since then obviously with ginos health you gotta say jax would be the better choice, and everyone has to admit jax developed year after year after SA. So really ultimately I would really go with jax. Could you imagine jax-who normally is healthy-took some time last year-but he's a healthy dude----parker,jax,jeff,dice,dunc.....shit id be happy as hell to see what would happen. Ultimately tho what i always wished for wash jax stayed in SA and now we'd prob have 1 or 2 more chips (i aint kidding i think for sure that's true, who knows tho, mo), and we wouldn't have to go get jeff this summer it would've always been jax, gino, parks, td, and one of the other shitbag bigs we had over the years. I just think the spurs route the last 5 years would've been diff if jax stayed and i mean in a good way......i hate to say it jax over gino

Before Jack hit a three on the 4th quarter of that game... Manu had a layup, free throws and a three that ended up being the first of the spree... all this BEFORE Jax... so you can credit Manu b4 Jax, he then believed... :stirpot:

OMG, someone thought the thread was not awful! Looking back, sure I was aware there was another Jax thread on the first page since I posted on it, but wanted to focus on the issue that we cannot afford both after this season. So Jax would cost us Manu 2010 on, is it worth it? Then I momentarily forgot why I even started the thread when the hecklers immediately came out. So for the record, I was not intentionally "lying" when I said I checked the main page and there was not a Jax thread, just highly agitated (obviously) by such an immediate attack from the thread police. I know, ridiculous I even felt the need to rehash this, but that is how it goes on here as we all know.
As for the name calling, perhaps I initiated it and it was an overreaction, but some folks still got what they deserved in my book. You know who you are. Others were much kinder, and perhaps got caught in my firestorm, which I wish had not happened.
Back to the discussion (at last). Jax is just way irrelevant in comparison to Manu for us. As a reminder, I did say a healthy Manu. You may have missed that at the outset, quite understandable. Obviously Manu or anyone else is little good to us if he can't play, or plays as a shadow of their former self.
