I'm not urging the Spurs to sign him, this post is to see what we think of him and if it fits our team as the wing defender a lot of people have asked for. As many have said he might be OK to do that but the rest of his game is not exactly what we look for (not a shooter). Some say he is obviously not coming since he doesn't fit exactly what we need. Well, very few players fit exactly and even fewer are available. Considering signing a free agent that plays a position you have some need for is not "not even worth discussing" in a freaking DISCUSSION forum?!
lol Exactly. I'm guessing a lot of people around here would rather see "Scrubs for Capt. Jack" threads, or updates on who the ROCKETS have signed.

Nine-year veteran Desmond Mason is expected to be signed to a one-year deal for the league minimum of $1.18 million today, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.
Re: Desmond Mason. A good fit?
The next step for Kings is to trade Nocioni.
Re: Desmond Mason. A good fit?
That would work out way too well :lol
We are down an Argentinian and it would be nice to to push it back to two :)

I'll be surprised if they trade him before the deadline. He's already a favorite and the staff is high on him. I think Donte Green is on the way out though.
