I doubt he makes the team myself.
Williams lacks quickness in every sense of the word and has had range issues in the past. He can beat up in the D-League but his record in the big league is pretty sub-par.
As far as Hairston goes:
Hes clearly not ready to start. Thats just asinine. But I wouldn't mind seeing him getting about 8-10 mins a game to see how he does. With Jefferson eating up probably 35 mins, Ginobili about 28, Mason 20+ and Hill stealing minutes at the 2 as well (and thats to say nothing of Finley or even Haislip maybe playing some 3) it'll be hard to get him more without an injury. But I get a good vibe on him. We'll just have to see.
The idiocy 'round here never ceases to amaze me. You've got Hairston starting now? Haislip guarding Odom in the WCF? Has Marcus Williams even been signed yet? We should trade Duncan to make room for James Gist!
Here's the Spurtalk All-time dumbass starting 5:
PG-George Hill (He's ready . . . trade Tony)
SG-Malik Hairston (He's an average player on a D-League team, but he looks like a quick learner)
SF-James Gist (Oh, if only he could play every position on the floor! He's so awesome.)
PF-Marcus Haislip (He's like Lebron V2.0!)
C-Tiago Javtokas (or some other injury prone, flimsy foreigner no one knows shit about)
Championship #5, here we come!
We really need that 100 post rule.
