Magic wouldnt be interesting cause they're actually a likeable team except Carter.
Celtics would be awesome. i hate them just cause they're all arrogant bitches. Plus I want Sheed to be another victim of a Spur gamewinner.
Cavs would be great just cause I want to see LeBroom cry again. and for Shaq to witness Tim having more rings than him.
Definately the celtics, that shit would be epic.
But the Cavs are a close second, A second defeat in the finals would send Lebron packing to NY, Mike Brown to the unemployment line, and crush the spirits of the entire city of Cleveland for the next 20-30 years
Celtics both intrigue and scare me. I'd love to beat them, but the fuckers almost never lose in the Finals. Their franchise Finals record is 17-3, and the bastards KNOW their window is closing.
Contrast that with the Lakers relatively pedestrian 15-15 Finals record.
The Celtics close the deal when they get there. Beating them would be the cherry on top of Duncan's career.
Very creative Jaffies ;)
next up: thread on whether the river should be the parade site again, who should be MC, design for the championship rings, and who the spurs should play the night the rings are handed out. did i forget anything in getting ahead of myself here...
My preseason pick is San Antonio and Boston with the Spurs winning it all in six.
Celtics! There are a few players I'd like to see cry on that team.
Celtics
Reason 1: Kevin Garnett (Only knows how to talk, never backs it up)
Reason 2: Paul Pierce ("I am the best player in the world". So why were you not even playing in the Olympics?-
Reason 3: Rajon Rondo (disliked him as an asshole pushing around the Bulls players, dragging them, pushing them into the announcers' table and there was not even a suspension.)
Reason 4: Eddie House (Cocky bitch needs to sit on the bench, anyone can hit a wide open three in the NBA.)
Reason 5: Rasheed Wallace (Payback for not joining the Spurs)
Reason 6: Beating the best team in the East will be more satisfactory. Sorry Orlando.
I want to beat whoever is the best. What other way is there?
I'd love to see lebroom get swept by the spurs
... oh wait
You're such a closet Cavs fan/LeBron lover...Boston would definitely beat us before the Cavs because they're way better defensively.
Cavs will probably win 55-60 games again and have another meltdown in the playoffs. Flash forward to May of next year and you'll be hearing, "LeBron still needs another piece." I don't see them in the Finals.
