Hi everyone,
I am a long time reader of spursreport.com but they still have not approved my account for posting so I have decided to make the switch over to spurstalk.
I'm a huge fan of NBA2K and am convinced its a far better game than NBALIVE but I'm discusted that Kobe is on the cover this year. I made my own and hope you guys like it. Looking forward to the season.

That does look nice. I remember one of the NCAA football games I bought let you print out your local team's cover if you wanted at the store's photo center. I wish they'd let you do that with this game.
Don't sleep on Live this year. The head designer of 2k is doing Live now and he's made tons of changes to improve the game. I've heard some great things about the improvements in game play.Quote:

problem with NBA live is the same problem with madden and every other ea sports game - the graphics make it look near exactly like the game because they have limitless funds to do so, but the 'feel' is nothing like the real sport. its a glorified new age $60 NBA Jam.
2k has its problems just as well, but they're the usual sort of bugs that don't get worked out, not glaring core concept deficiencies. You can expect things that work in real life, things you love to see in real NBA games, to work and play out the same in 2k. I just really hope they brign things back to the 2k8 defense level. In 2k8 you could stop people just not block their shots. in 2k9 you can block a shitload of shots but people score much easier to make up for it.
