After failing miserably in the NBA, he could always go dominate in Europe and have DAF86 proclaim him a Hall Of Famer.
wtf does gsw always take on undersized scrubs....
I think he'll be fine.
Curry may struggle for a while but I think he will be really good in the future. Probably Nick Van Exel-esque.
his mom is kinda hot
i actually think those numbers aint that bad seeing as hes gettin a decent amount of assists, you know his scoring with come eventually but they need someone to run the point
Skip Bayless loves him, so that means dirk4mvp loves him.
He will always have a low % for his career
^He's also just gonna suck in general. His absolute best case scenario is Mo Williams.
He did show the ability to score on better teams in college though. He put up 44 points on Oklahoma and NC State each last year. He was able to score 20+ on teams like UNC and Duke while being the entire focus of those defenses. Sure he had a green light to shoot it every time, but still, when you have very good college teams gameplan their entire defense around limiting you, and you still put up 20+, you show an ability to score.
The NBA is obviously very different. What may end up hurting him a lot this year is if he plays a lot with Ellis, forcing teams to put the 2-guard defender on him because of Monta's athleticism and quickness. On most nights, Curry will probably see 6-5 to 6-7 long, athletic defenders. He'll have his share of struggles. There's no doubt about it. But, he's still a good basketball player and I suspect he'll be better than what some posters in this thread anticipate.
Redick is quite different. Curry has the point guard abilities. If the Warriors are smart, they get rid of Ellis and put the ball into Curry's hands. Redick doesn't have the ability to play PG.
Fair enough for now, after three preseason games.
Good to see that he's not going to get out there and just jack away.
