Speaking of PHX and Steve Nash, I could not help but be reminded that there will never be another Steve Nash thread better than this one. It is now a YouTube and Internets classic.

Here is the YouTube conglomerated version of this thread, although I don't condone a few of the vulgar photoshops.

7. Houston Rockets
8. NO Hornets
It's even better seeing them beat one of these teams in their own building.
The Spurs have only lost twice in the 19 times I've seen them play road games in person. They haven't lost to PHX in games I've seen in person.
I was looking at the Spurs recent road struggles (LA Clippers not included) and determined that I should probably share some SPAM mojo with them in PHX. So I'm taking my .895 Spurs road winning percentage with me to US Airways tomorrow night. I was at the Spurs game in Phoenix on 1/21/05 when Manu scored 48 and the Spurs came back from 20 down to take that one. Probably the best regular season Spurs game I've ever been to. When I've sat in rows 12 or lower, the Spurs are 8-0. (I had floor seats when Manu scored his 48.) As for Rows 13 to the ceiling, they're a still very strong 9-2. I'll be in row 15 tomorrow night, but that should be close enough to allow the SPAM mojo to push them to 18-2. I had some 3rd row seats selected, but then someone came up with these seats on row 15 for me, and they had a word associated with them that I like even more than SPAM....the word FREE.
So, here are my predictions:
1. Manu has at least 20 points (he's never scored less than 20 in a road game where SPAM is present).
2. RJ has a big night tomorrow. (RJ has yet to feel the SPAM. This will be his first time to feel the mojo. It will be beautiful to watch. I hope he doesn't break any teeth on the rim the first time he goes up for a dunk...that SPAM is powerful stuff.)
3. DeJuan Blair will experience a complete healing from his rib injury from the Clips game (the SPAM does stuff like that). Since he already appears to be on the SPAM, with this added exposure I'm contacting the arena to make sure they have at least 2 spare backboards handy for when he starts bringing those down tomorrow night.
4. Spurs win by 8.....111-103.
5. This injection of SPAM will propel the Spurs near the top of the Western conference standings over the next couple of months. Even on upcoming nights when the Spurs don't play that hard, they'll still win due to their SPAM exposure tomorrow night.
6. At least 1 fan will say something mouthy to the Chopper as I scream for my Spurs in the other guys' gym.
6a. I will just laugh and nod, hold up my beer, and point at the scoreboard with my middle finger, as is my custom at Spurs road games. Then I will mouth the word "vacuum" in an effort to explain to this fan that the maintenance crew needs to clean up the glass all over the floor from DeJuan's latest dunk. It's always best to stay on friendly terms with the fans at opposing gyms I've learned. Just some free tips from the Chopper.
The first SPAM thread of the season from the Prophet himself. Have a great time at the game Chopper. May the Mojo be with you.
Though I've been a Spurs fan for 20+ years, I've never read a "SPAM thread" before....please enlighten me to the meaning. That being said, what an incredible post by the Chopper. I'm glad you'll be at the game. No one can argue with your stats. Bring it to the Suns!!!

Chopper, do us a favor, scream something noticeable during one of the home team's free throws, when all the rest of the arena is trying to be silent. I think screaming "SPAM" might be appropriate. I will be listening.
SanAntonioSpurs23, that goes for you too. However, who's White Hill and when did he play for the spurs?

Re: Bringin' the SPAM to Phoenix tomorrow night.
Great post and enthusiasm! Love it.
I too predict that Manu will have a big game. I've not heard that PHX's defense has gotten any better so Manu will rain the 3's AND the drives to the rim.
37 pts., 6 rbs., 7 asts., 4 steals, and 2 blocks for Manu.
Duncan should have a nice night against the ghost-like defense of Amare.
23 pts., 9 rbs., 5 asts., 2 steals, and 3 blocks for Tim and more importantly in only 29 min. and 46 sec.
Parker should do just fine and will have 24 pts., 4 rbs., 9 asts., 3 steals, and 5 TO's. This is PHX, Spurs fans. The Parker tear drop will be in effect 2nite.
Jefferson will really excel in this format of game and have 22 pts. on 8/13 shooting, 7 rbs., 3 asts., and 1 block.
Then our bench will outscore their bench, 46- 20. So according to my math, Spurs win going away, 152 to 121. :lol
Whatever, that's funny to me at least. Here's hoping we play well and pray for no injuries. :flag:

I'll try to post a comment or two during the game if I'm not too intoxicated (with emotion that is).
