Let's get over the loss against the suns... Spurs 107- Warriors 92
Probebly a must win game. Maybe not for the win but for confidence sake it is.
Lets get a great win tonight
I feel like goldenstate is about to get abused
Now comes the start of a 3 game winning streak. Three patsies (GS, Indy, Clip Joint) before Portland comes to town...
They should win.
They should win but its a back-to-back against a team that will try to run all night... not so sure I like our chances. I'm hoping Ellis has an off game.
gonna be a bounce-back game TP
how about a vbookie?
wtf is up with the mods lately not doing vbookie...give me mod powers and with our powers combine we can summon captain planet, his our hero, his going to turn pollution down to zero....
vbookie now plz
Yessss cooool a sub .500 team !!!!!!!!
why isnt there always a vbookie?
Zomgg this is like a must win. Otherwise we need to trade everyoneee!!!!!!
Lets really try to win this one.
Go Tim Go!!
bring out the red rocket lol
If Spurs lose ST should be closed for the day.
This is a game where we'll probably play down to Golden State's size and try to beat them at their own game (small ball), instead of letting Tim Duncan and DeJuan Blair together bully this run-and-gun team on the defensive and offensive boards. Those two should be getting more minutes together imo, with DeJuan being the first off the bench for Dyess instead of Bonner. In this game though, it'll likely be all about guard-play, with GS fielding a 3-4 guard lineup at times, and the Spurs probably mirroring that.
:lol Twitter.
George Hill: I #rememberwhen I thought being liteskinned was another color so I used to fill in other on the paper.
Hopefully the blasting that Pop gave some of the team members will ignite them and start a huge push.
Back to back against a sub .500 team...
I predict a win by 3 points only.
Brah, can't lose then start the next game thread brah.
Hopefully Tony and Manu are pissed about last night and destroy the Warriors.
I want Tim to rest a little bit. TP, Manu, RJ need to take the load off of him.
who was the person to say jefferson would drop 30 on suns :lol
Tim will have a field day against the Warriors' frontcourt. That's about all I can guarantee. different guys step up on different nights. I'd like to see Hill have a nice game, as well as Jefferson.
Spurs need to free IAN.
But that's too radical, it runs the risk of possibly making the Spurs better.
Why is this game NOT in NBA Broadband? and WTF is CSN-BA
Anybody know which dish network channel the game is on?
BTW, I hope I don't need one of these after the game tonight:lol

Mikki Moore Out Indefinitely
Dec 16, 2009 4:11 PM EST
Mikki Moore will have surgery to remove bone spurs from his right heel and is out indefinitely, the Warriors announced Wednesday.
Moore will have the foot casted and will be on crutches for several weeks. He has been bothered by the bone spurs since last season but was gutting it out because of the Warriors' injury woes.
i hope pop doesnt even play parker for punishment, wait! is finley back? i sure hope not hes going to b pops savior
If the Spurs lose, I would like to start the next game thread. Just saying.
I hope its a blowout :flag:
kori & timvp need to give someone else some power, so these threads can be pinned before the game starts
:bang
not being able to see a Spurs game is the worst feeling ever lol
god watching Collison play now makes me wet... he'd be the perfect aggressive big next to TD... :depressed
http://blogs.mysanantonio.com/weblog...-warrio-4.htmlQuote:
Jeff McDonald: More Pop on DeJuan Blair: "“If the coach had any brains, he’d be playing him more. The guy is like a stat machine. I still haven’t figured out how he does it. He’s got no moves on the post. He’s not a shooter. I don’t get it. He figures out a way to get it in the hole and get to the line. He blocks shots and guards people I don’t think he can guard. I’m just really in a learning stage trying to figure him out and what I should do with him.”
Jeff McDonald: Pop was also asked if they'd thought about returning Blair to the starting lineup: “We have thought about it. We did it a little bit earlier, but it was too early. He wasn’t ready for it. We’ve been giving him more and more minutes as we go, and it’s a possibility going forward.”
I'm tired of the good/bad team analyzing. Just win.
Quote:
Jeff McDonald: Pop talked for like half an hour pregame. It was almost like, "OK, Pop, I gotta go now."
Jeff McDonald: It was kind of winding down, then Pop says, "Isn't anybody going to ask why we suck?" ... 15 minutes later, we were still there
Jeff McDonald: Doc will appreciate this. The question was, basically, "Gee, Pop, how come you guys suck?" He answer begins: "Bad coaching. The coach got stupid."
Wednesday December 16, 2009 9:24 Jeff McDonald
9:24 Joe Alexander: Hey Rich. Hey Blofeld. He Dr. Schwartz.
Wednesday December 16, 2009 9:24 Joe Alexander
9:24 Jeff McDonald: Then, he took a deep breath, and here is the entire answer, verbatim ... in a couple of posts:
Wednesday December 16, 2009 9:24 Jeff McDonald
9:24 Jeff McDonald: "“We’re definitely not playing well. We’re inconsistent. Obviously, there’s some new players, but we’ve got enough returning players. I guess what it means is once the game starts, 60 percent of our starting lineup is new. And 53 percent of the bodies are new. What I’m learning is we lost more corporate knowledge than I thought. It’s taken a little bit more time than I thought, against a very competitive West, to get everybody on the same page. "
Wednesday December 16, 2009 9:24 Jeff McDonald
9:24 Jeff McDonald: “If your team is going to have 2 out 5 guys make a mistake in a defensive possession, it’s going to show. Last night against Phoenix, we made four or five fundamentally unsound decsions on pick and roll and left Frye open for shots that nobody would ever get against us. The communication wasn’t quite there, the reaction wasn’t there.
Wednesday December 16, 2009 9:24 Jeff McDonald
9:25 Jeff McDonald: "“So we’ll concentrate on that, and maybe the next game it will be that we don’t rebound. Maybe the next game it’s that we don’t shoot well. Maybe the next game, a couple new guys have a bad game, and a returning player had a bad game. We’re not all in sync. We don’t have all of our players playing well every night.
Wednesday December 16, 2009 9:25 Jeff McDonald
9:25 Jeff McDonald: "We’re trying to get them into the system, and it’s been a little harder than we thought.”
Jeff McDonald: Here's some more from Pop: "“It’s the most new bodies we’ve ever had in the starting lineup. What happens is it gives Tony and Timmy pause, too. You could understand Richard is going to be a deer in the headlights some times, wondering what the hell he’s supposed to do. When you think about it, Timmy and Tony doesn’t know where those new guys are going to be. We’re learning about each other. The effort is there. We’re playing competitively, but we’re not getting over that hump. As long as we stay dedicated to the fundamentals of the system and are patient with each other, we’ll get there. If we lose those things, then we’ll have a problem.”
Jeff McDonald: And some more (I told you the dude wouldn't stop talking): "“We’re trying to figure out what everybody’s role. With those three returning players, how does Richard fit into the offense as far as how much is he going to score and shoot? And if it’s X, does that take away from Timmy, from Tony, from Manu, from this or that?”
Wow...GSW starting with the ultra micro ball look. Lol VladRad at center.
Crawford on the floor tonight... good stuff, good stuff lol
That's really small Warriors team
Golden State's classic small ball. Where is Anthony Randolph?
Ridnour with the pull-up dagger!
GO BUCKS!
I really like this Bucks team, esp Bogut, Ilyasova, Ridnour and Jennings.
Alright let's get this party started!!
will pop abuse the warriors inside on the ultra small/weak lineup.... nope, he will just match it with a non defensive small ball linepup--- gunna be a close game spurs fans. sad to say
At least the Spurs had brains to work Timmy inside.
TD bank!!
how easy was that to go inside.... way easy. but, watch pop go away from it
don nelson is looking pretty old
You could tell Nelson's lost some weight from his illness.
lmao RJ
DAMN RJ
fuck
wow maggette looks 50x quicker than jefferson.
Fucking bullshit call on Bogut.
Worst thing about the NBA is the superstar calls. Fucking Bryant.
maggette>jefferson.... what could have been
Why hasn't 'Dice taken shots like that? He's money when he does.
Pick and roll defense?
Yes TD!
wow this arena is dead quiet
Turnovers!
Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers
Who is the centre - Radman or Maggette? :lmao
Tony, please, WAKE UP
The refs stole the Bucks... Kobe with the game winning buzzer beater...
lol warriors little men
And1 for Timmy, is this going to be Phoenix all over for him?
Tim 7 and 4 early on.
Just give it to Tim. Nobody on the Warriors can guard him.
Can Parker wake the fuck up?
Another TO.
Sit Parker and RJ, this is pathetic
fcuk you RJ absolutely useless around TD
Tony Fucking Parker, why would he throw it at 'Dice knees?
lol Spurs looking HORRIBLE again
:lol wowowowow
wow timmy already has 7 points and 6 rebounds with still 6 mins to go in the first.
RJ stops to give it in the back court to TD? Lol...
if RJ has to start ,bench him now and early
New starting lineup
Hill
Manu
Mason
Duncan
Blair
RJ can't post the midget Ellis, this is getting worst game after game
Is it time to put Hill and Mason in?
Fuck. Fakers 107-106. Ilyasova missed 2 FTs with 1 min to go. Fuck.
let's not be so quick to blame the refs...Kobe has been doing this for awhile.....that's why he's arguably the best player in the game today.
The Lakers are never out of a close contest when he's on the floor.
Besides, bad teams don't get the breaks. :hat
But who cares about the Lakers? I'm more concerned about the Spurs........we need a victory tonight albeit against another lower echelon team.
