Didn't know you were on the roster, El.
And :lol. The Spurs are the undisputed January champions. Of course they'll steamroll their way to the finals like they did the last two seasons and take out Cleveland or Boston no problem.

If you can't relate to your team, why are you here?

The Spurs just mopped the floor with the defending champs, aka, your team.
Just man up and accept the Spurs are the better team right now.

Well, we know what it takes to beat Cleveland in the Finals... we've done two seasons ago. But I'm pretty sure your team got curbstomped by Boston, IIRC. Do YOU remember?
Now tell me about that embarrassing episode when your team, lead by Kobe, missed the playoffs. Don't be shy, I want all the details... :lmao

Re: San Antonio Golden Age Emerges: The Spurs finally Three-Peat!
Hell after winning 3 straight January championships nothing can stop your Spurs ElNono. I was agreeing with you.

You can't talk shit to Laker fan about rings, Finals appearances, season records, or any other statistical stat there is in regards to franchise success because the Lakers dwarf any team not named the Celtics.
The best you can do is talk shit about arbitrary time periods in which the Lakers were clearly rebuilding their franchise. Pretty pathetic.
Lakers fans actually believe the rings belong to them.

I'm just paying homage to the San Antonion dynasty. You totally won those January championships outright. No excuses here.
Here, this medicine should make you feel better:
Spurs aren't better than the Lakers. Spurs beat the lakers w/no Gasol and an injured Kobe.
Your team is has the best record in the league albeit they have come back to the pack. Still, your Lakers won the second game of the texas trip and Gasol is coming back. Bryant is getting healthy.
TheresI hope that is enough to get over this inexplicable case of insecurity you must have to bring up those meaningless stats.

You are right, let's talk about the LA Laker's first 4 finals appearances.
http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/LAL/
61-62 - Lost Finals 4-3 to the Celtics
62-63 - Lost Finals 4-2 to the Celtics
64-65 - Lost Finals 4-1 to the Celtics (is there a trend going on?)
65-66 - Lost Finals 4-3 to the Celtics (broke the trend here)
But that is unfair, since there were only 9 teams in those days. Let's look at the LA Lakers first 4 finals appearance after the Spurs joined the NBA.
79-80 - Won Finals 4-2 over the 76ers
81-82 - Won Finals 4-2 over the 76ers
82-83 - Lost finals 4-0 to the 76ers :(
83-84 - Lost finals 4-3 to the Celtics
The Lakers did great during their time in the NBA, benefitting from building championship level teams in a league of 9 teams, or from the fact that superstars just like the allure of large cities (Jabbar, Bryant, O'Neal).
