Cool Bowen was dirty, like I said you wont hear me argue that he was a saint. I dont see how you compare him to Posey though, not after Posey pulled this shit off on OUR franchise player. If he went out and did it to a VC, a Ray, or an Amare, or someone else from another team than allright I could see your point...but he did it to Tim Duncan. The face of this franchise. Its a slap in the face to Duncan to want Posey on this team after that. Thats the equivalent of Suns fans wanting Horry after the hip check or Sonics/Nets fans wanting Bruce after he injured their star players' ankles.

I freely admit it - most of the time Bruce was just on the legal side of the line, sometimes he stepped over it.

The HUGE difference that I see in this situation is that Bruce did everything he did, however you view it, with the clock running during play. I don't ever recall even one dead ball cheap shot or trip attempt.

VERY good point. I think to compare Bowen with Posey is ludicrous. Bruce many times may have stepped over the line, but it was seldom ever so blatantly obvious as Posey. He just go and hit people, no matter the clock, no matter the circumstances, no matter anything.

Man, Timmy was ready to rumble after that cheap shot. Kinda reminds me of Five-oh during his later years when he got the occasional T. Calm as anything, but if he snapped on you, God help you if you were in the way.
