It might take Thabeet the rest of his life to learn the Spurs system. He'd never contribute anything until way, way down the line. Spurs need to win now or next year.
Actually, to be fair, defensively, he would be the shotblocker we need. He has shown tons offlashes blocking shots near the rim. Excellent timing and is a big defensive presence on help defense. However, he will really hurt us on the offensive end, which was why I said no.

I really doubt they're ready to give up on the 2nd overall pick in THIS YEARS draft.... if they were tho, and cheap, I would for sure take him. I wouldn't worry as much about his offense as his stamina, and ability to stay in the game from fouls as well. With him and Timmy patrolling the paint, nobody gets easy baskets.
