Tune it out? You don't think deep down inside he doesn't enjoy it and get a kick out of it? It's the ultimate sign of respect.

lol people acting like the Mavs fans are DEVASTATED by this. It's a tad annoying, but...
We'll take solace in the fact that while we're 2nd in the West, the Spurs are fading into irrelevancy with the brutal half of their schedule yet to be played.
Duncan forever owns Dirk!
I love how the fan voting is called stupid when McGrady is getting voted in, but now it is meaningful when it's for Duncan.
After all Dirk has been through, it would have been nice for him to start, especially with the game in Dallas. I know people here hate the Mavs but Dirk is one of the nicest guys in the entire NBA.

This is obviously karma for how he treated Cristal..Dirk lost the women vote with that..
Yeah, great news!
:tu Good job to all the voters. I know I tried to vote every day, and a lot of other people on this board seemed to put in the effort as well. Maybe just drops in the bucket, but SpursTalk probably helped supply a pretty good dribble.
Let the Starting Streak continue!
All I know is that over the last few weeks I've been voting every single day.
it goes to show my one vote counts! :-)
Bullshit decision. Dirk is clearly having a better year.
That is a piss poor excuse. Are you saying fans in San Antonio weren't paying attention to the Dallas Cowboys? This is why Dirk lost To Duncan? Maybe it had more to do with Mavs fans assuming the inevitable. I think Mavs fan did little campaigning on Dirk's behalf to get more votes in. It's never over til it's over.
Yes Timmay! Voting for him everyday paid off.
I don't really understand how somebody can say Dirk is CLEARLY having a better season..

Duncan has the advantage in pretty much every individual stat and he obviously plays better D..I used %s for some stats because it's more accurate and accounts for Duncan's low minutes..
Nowitzki obviously has the advantage in some areas too..he turns the ball over less despite a lot more minutes and usage..his supporting cast has been worse than Duncan's by a small margin this year, which means he has meant more to his team from a value standpoint considering that the Mavs have had the better record..
I don't really mind either of them starting, you can make the argument for both..Duncan kind of screwed Dirk here by making himself count as a "F" when he's clearly been a "C", which would have sent Stoudemire to the bench instead..
Mavs fans should have had a better turn out with the voting though, that's pretty bad when you can't vote your superstar when the ASG is in Dallas..
Is the stadium going to be configured for maximum 100,000 seating capacity or 80,000?
I've never understood why Mavs fans act arrogant. Your team is a joke, period. The Spurs are playing like a joke, but have the potential to be better than that. I heard a stat the other day that the Mavs have trailed by at least ten points in a whopping (I think) twenty-two games this season. Basically, they've done what they've been doing for at least four seasons now, which is come from behind and eek out a win. In other words, they're pulling wins out of their proverbial ass. They're not actually outplaying teams, or winning many games in impressive fashion.
The Spurs did this in the first half of last season a lot and because of it they had an inflated record. There's only one problem with this: you know what happens to teams who do this? No matter how experienced or how good they are closing out games, eventually that record turns. It's the old story about playing with fire.
Despite all this, the Mavs are only 2 and 1/2 games up on the Spurs. Yet they're supposedly playing great and the Spurs are fading into irrelevancy. You'd think the gap would be at least double if that were truly the case. I'm not worried about the Mavs and here's why: If the Spurs begin to play to even 75% of their potential, they'll be looking at the Mavs in the rear view mirror.
lol dumb mavfans
if you wanted dirk to start, shouldve started clicking....
dont hate the player, hate the game
