RJ off to a good start. Looks good as long as he doesn't have to play PF.

Jefferson actually looks like a good player in every 1st quarter..it's usually the rest of the game where he completely disappears..

I like when Hill takes it to the basket, though he still needs to have alittle more confidence.

Hill guarding Johnson? Can this team ever not be either severely undersized or ill-equipt to guard the opposition's best player? Hill has no chance in this match-up, because Johnson can easily overpower him or just shoot up over the top.

How long until the Spurs are trailing? Over/under when Ginobili checks in.

We always have great starts, it's the end that fucks us up.

Spurs are #2 in the NBA in winning 1st quarters, only behind the Lakers..I won't be excited until we have a lead by the end of the 3rd..

That's because he's playing his normal position in the 1st quarter.

nice one georgie ...the thing is those could be moment catalyst or momentum killer because if he doesn't make that one, no one might push the ball like that again all night

If old school Spurs' defense is truly dead, there's no reason to play slow down, grind-it-out games anymore. We have the personnel this year to really push the ball and get as many easy baskets as possible.

Spurs have taken 13 shots, with only 2 of them coming outside the lane. Like all teams, shorter shots = better chance to win.
