As much as I hate to agree with poop, I like Perkins too. The Spurs have always been most successful when they had a hard-nosed, defensive big to play along side Tim whose game is mostly directly under the basket. I'd settle for Marcin Gortat... really hope the spurs have made a bid for him... I know Gortat was disappointed when the magic matched the offer, and his chance to be a starter in Dallas was shut down... he could definitely start here, and I think we have the expirers and three point shooters (magic seem to like 3 point shooting bigs) to at least make a decent offer.
