honestly, for this team id like kendrick Perkins over any of the others besides pau gasol.
As much as I hate to agree with poop, I like Perkins too. The Spurs have always been most successful when they had a hard-nosed, defensive big to play along side Tim whose game is mostly directly under the basket. Perkins is a big body who isn't afraid to mix it up in the post. The Spurs are sorely lacking an enforcer this year.Quote:

Why is everyone here so high on Camby? Dude is OLD. It would be the Spurs luck the minute we got him he would completely fall apart. I'm kind of tired of these old, grissled veterans using the Spurs as a stop-gap to retirement.Quote:

I'd settle for Marcin Gortat... really hope the spurs have made a bid for him... I know Gortat was disappointed when the magic matched the offer, and his chance to be a starter in Dallas was shut down... he could definitely start here, and I think we have the expirers and three point shooters (magic seem to like 3 point shooting bigs) to at least make a decent offer.
