If you win...you did what you're supposed to do. Don't %$# this up, SA...

Re: Game Blog: Spurs @ Lakers - Feb. 8
Well it means you get a W, the other team gets an L. Doesn't hurt.

Re: Game Blog: Spurs @ Lakers - Feb. 8
All i know is Pop better let McDyess guard Odom.
I have a feeling we will be seeing small ball for at least a quarter tonight.:bang

Re: Game Blog: Spurs @ Lakers - Feb. 8
If the Spurs play a smart game, play solid D, they should win easily.

Re: Game Blog: Spurs @ Lakers - Feb. 8
At this point, a win is more important than any statement or take away from the game. Go make it happen Spurs.

I actually liked McDyess' defense on LaMarcus, so I agree with this, I'd love to see him getting the bulk of muniutes on Odom.

Good thing I got my electronic cigarette two days ago... I can't go by a Lakers - Spurs game without some sort of smoke.

Bryant, Bynum will sit vs. Spurs
By Jeff McDonald
The Spurs will face the Lakers tonight without Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum. Lakers coach Phil Jackson confirmed in his pre-game meeting with reporters that both stars will sit with varying degrees of injury.
Bryant, the NBA's fourth-leading scorer, is officially out with a sprained left ankle, but has suffered a host of maladies over the past two months. Bynum, who scored 23 points against the Spurs earlier this season, is out with a bruised right hip.
Spurs coach Gregg Popovich did not exactly lick his chops when informed of the Lakers' short-handedness.
"I'd rather have it the other way," Popovich said. "It's more a situation where, if you win the game, I don't think you take a whole lot from it. And if you lose the game, you feel like hell."

McDyess played Odom as well as anyone I've seen the last time they played.

Re: Game Blog: Spurs @ Lakers - Feb. 8
So Pop agrees with us. Nice. Finally. I don't see the Spurs doing something drastic if they lose. I don't see them bailing on this experiment yet.

We've sucked on national TV this year. And off it to for that matter. I want to see how we look against a full laker team. And what color thong rj wears lol. He is so tender against good teams. It would be nice for him to prove me wrong. We will see.

Re: Game Blog: Spurs @ Lakers - Feb. 8
Those Nola uniforms looke like crap... they are trying hard to imitate the Spurs by giving up the lead...:lmao

Re: Game Blog: Spurs @ Lakers - Feb. 8
Phil always messes with the Spurs during the regular season by having key players out, not a surprise. Spurs won't be able to gauge themselves in a game like this but no matter, they need personnel changes without playing and regardless of the outcome.

Re: Game Blog: Spurs @ Lakers - Feb. 8
Not ideal without Kobe and Bynum, but any game against the Purple and Gold is one to get up for.
