She said she would leave the Senate in October or November. That was the flip.
She didn't. That was the flop.
What part of that do you not understand?
The health care debate is finished regardless. Did she quit after it was done?

you know..........
i'm not too bothered by this anymore, i mean, sure i would have loved a free for all open short election, but the possibility of comprehensive immigration reform before 2012 and no incumbent could me a better stab at her seat in two years. that mixed with all the cali/michigan/florida fallout we're still receiving here in texas, the dems might have a fair shot at her seat and then cornyn's in 2014.
It's not like Perry was going to appoint a Democrat in her stead -- it's just that she lied. Republicans are no different from Democrats in that respect.
Wow...
I do understand. Remember that it was preceded by taking care of Health Care and Cap-n-Tax first. Health care is finally done, not when it was suppose to be. My point was that it is understandable she didn't resign on time because HC wasn't finish on time.
What part of that is too complex to understand?
What her plans were, who knows. However, if she missed some plans, then it stands to reason she finishes her term.
You guys attack republicans for the silliest of reasons.
:lmao
She said exactly what here plans were.
She said she would quit in November at the latest.
She didn't.
It's because she lost horribly to Perry and no other reason. I understand she lied. You don't. You defend Republicans for the silliest of reasons.

Kay Bailey Hutchison: "Well I'm going to announce in August. Formal announcement: I am in. Then the actual leaving of the Senate will be sometime - October, November - that, in that time frame."
