He got hit on the nose. But it didn't merit the way he fell down like he had just been hit a bulldoser.Quote:

Probably a combination of getting hit and some overacting. I think the problem is that Manu is developing a reputation as a bit of a flopper, and (whether it was or not) that LOOKED like a flop.
Letsee...Manu gets whacked in the face...and we're all complaining about him "flopping."
What am I missing here?
That he made the hit in the face that bloodied him, look worse than a hit in the face?
:bang
IMHO Antonio clearly clocked him in the mouth...and rang his bell...It effectively took him out of his game for the rest of the night...

WHAT THE HECK IS THIS QUOTE
what the fuck.
come on this was said about baseball for a million years. fuck you skiles.
basketball is a simple game to master anyway, baseball isnot.
Oh its fun to see you guys whiney about refs too.
:lol :spin :lol :spin :lol :spin
But the sad part is manu got the foul call on him....yeah he fouled him with his nose....of course, it is a rather large nose, so there is some merit there. :)
The foul wasn't for the reaction to getting hit, it was for wrapping his arm around James when he was being screened.
I read your posts about Manu on your little Denver Nuggets board.Quote:

Anybody have a screen capture showing if Daniels' arm did or didn't make contact?
I don't have a screen capture but I switched back and forth between KENS and ESPN for all the camera angles...KENS had a very good angle..I'm not saying it was malicious but Antonio clearly popped him right in the teeth with his forearm...I think it stunned him and he had a short semi-blackout...anyone that has ever gotten clocked in the jaw area will know what I am talking about...thus the "badly timed flop" according to ESPN...fuck those guys...
I saw FUCKING BLOOD, so unless your saying he bit himself this is a moot point!
And of course there was Danny Fortson, Reggie Evans and Jerome James, who does nothing but flop. What about Ray Allen suddenly having an inner ear infection, seems to have a lot of trouble balancing.
Point is, everybody flops (if you call an exaggeration of a call a flop), singling out Manu is just the flavour of the week.
That's the post that proves the quote, as are most of your other posts.Quote:

the problem is that only people in SA got to see that clip...everywhere else in the country they were watching it on ESPN which completely missed the hit...and then the commentators made fun of Manu for his "bad acting on the flop"...Manu came damn close to getting knocked out on the play...fuck em...Quote:

I admit when the play first happened, I thought Manu flopped. And I thought that maybe he hit his mouth on the floor during his post-flop act.
On the replay, it did look like he actually got hit though.
We need a screen cap of the Kens footage, I'm fighting with people on CL about it now lol
Nobodycan post the KENS clip?
i thought Manu lost a tooth.
Tim Korte an AP Sports Writer saw the hit.... read his article:
