I was watching the game again and toward the end there was a drive by Allen where Bowen got called for a foul and Allen acted like he was going to fall under the basket from the contact. Duncan grabbed Allen by the jersey so he couldn't flop then Duncan said something to him and from the look on Duncan's and Allen's faces it wasn't a compliment.
Never seen or heard anything about that?
Link!!!
All he said was that he didn't care in the least what Allen and the Sonics had to say about them. (About the no-respect comment). That they're here to play, not hear what the media says.
He did look pissed kinda.
well, it was time he got pissed about something. I just hope it shows tomorrow...
Cool quote I found that I thought was relevant.Quote:
"The time when there is no one there to feel sorry for you or to cheer for you is when a player is made."
-Tim Duncan
No one else watched the 10 o'clock news?
Yes.
He seemed a little mad and just said that basically they don't care what the Sonics say in the press, there's no place for that. And that Allen isn't used to being defended hard and that's what Bruce comes out and does every night.
I didnt get off work till just now...do you know what he said???Quote:

Duncan uses the word "stuff" to refer to another word rather than "stuff"?Quote:

What I loved about Fridays game was when Allen took the last shot with Bruce all over him and he missed. The Spurs then called a time out,as Bruce was walking to the bench he said something to Ray and if I read lips right he responded with "[email protected]#k You!
Love it!!!!!!!!!
Tim will smoke the Sonics tomorrow. no doubt.
Tim's new nickname "Silent Death" :)
well hopefully ...

There's something to be said for lip-reading!
On another note: Am I the only one who gets pissed when the camera pans to the bench, or a coach, or an owner, while somebody's shooting a FT? It just boils me! I have this ritual I go through with Duncan at the line and I know it's just stupid superstition, but I figure that if I can guide him through it, he'll make the shot.
But all that aside, aren't foul shots as much a part of the game as floor action? Why do we have to look at something else as though FTs don't matter? God knows FTs mattered a lot in Game 3.
Anybody have an opinion on this odd bit of neglect from the networks?
Cause FTs aren't the "stuff". ;)
It's just not fun to watch an uncontested shot. Besides, you still find out if they made it or not by the crowd's reaction.
The Spurs played like Stuff.
