The Spurs really need this win. They can't let this series tie at two games apiece and risk possible disaster. Win this one and then end it at the SBC Center.
Will the Spurs be focused? Can they do it? Will they?
Believe.

I expect a 20/20 game from Tim Duncan.
Totally Agree.Quote:

I think they will. They have to be physical, continue taking it into the paint, and make free throws. If a starter isn't delivering (I'm thinking of Nazr or Barry particularly), Pop shouldn't be afraid to get Manu, Rasho, or Horry in the game early. The bench is deep and versatile. Pop should utilize Big Dog if the offense stagnates. Only Tim has a better post game on the team.
Push the ball when possible and get some easy baskets.
I'm looking forward to it. I'm going to head to the bar in about forty five minutes and have a few beers and watch the Spurs come back and win.
Spurs will win. :smokin I expect more minutes for Rasho!
Sure they can't afford a 2-2.
I am sure they gonna have an heck of a motivation and of focus...
J. James has been a lot too arrogant at the end of match 3...
Sonics will receive a correction and Tim is gonna explose the paint...
Wow, i am so happy tha game is not too late in here ( will be 1 am local hour, a lot lot better than 4h30)...
I am gonna enjoy it live for once...
go Spurs
Xap
We need Nazr to step up on the rebounding tonight and help defend the pic and roll with James---he CANNOT go 7-7 on dunks again.
Otherwise, despite Seattle's claim that they've managed to "contain" Parker and Ginobili, both need to continue attacking the basket--and MAKING their damn FT's. Duncan will have his Monster game of the series that will shut Jerome James up once and for all.
Spurs need to take advantage of Seattle's injured players.
rashard lewis will not play
i guess his toe sprain is pretty bad...that sucks, it's always cool to beat a team that is at full strength.
this will hurt them bad.
Tony and Manu will not be denied tonight, Tim is going to go apeshit.
This is going to be a royal ass-kicking. I can feel it.
I think pop should yank barry and start big dog
that will suprise the sonics
I like the idea of starting big dog
Big Dog didn't play one second after he got into a shoving match last game.
Curious to see if Pop will allow him to play at all tonight.
Expect a BIG game from Manu tonight.
Yes ! i have the image here in lyon, France,
Oh yes !!!
Xap
Ah the block by DUNCAN !!
:elephant
turnovers are killing spurs
well, it aint exactly starting great...
Did the Spurs just wake up from a nap??
This game looks bad
Get Barry the fuck outta there.
Barry is horrible
They are not even guarding Bowen
Brent Barry has brain farts every now and then, forgets how to dribble
Put Brown in there...damn, sometimes, I hate Pop's stubborness.
..forgets how to not be a scrub.
Is it just me or does the entire team look lifeless, it's like they think they can just walk in tonight and get a win.
Maybe he will forget how to breath so we can get out of his contract.Quote:

Spurs look very dead, lethargic, no energy, no fire. The Sonics are "opening some wipe ass".

Ok Duncan, STOP RUNNING IT UP!!
Oh, THIS is what movement and spacing looks like on offense....
Do we have more than two plays in the playbook? Anyone? 5 turnovers in 9 possessions.
Here we go.....
Woo Hoo 1/1!!!
do not turn the ball over
We look like a chess board on offense. One person moving at a time. Blah....
I think I've already seen Seattle set 5 moving screens, without a single offensive foul call.
Where's Van Gundy when you need him?
And WTF are we doing running plays for Rasho, when we haven't even gotten Manu a touch on offense? Wake the fuck up Pop.
Spurs are waking up just in time
Ok Spurs, we are weathering the storm. Lets hold onto the basketball and actually run some plays on offense and we can get on top in 3 possesions.
Welcome to the Gregg Popovich Playoff Pucker Offense. Options 1,2,3,4,and 5 are Tim.Quote:

Despite the ugliness, were only down by 4.
duncan is going to go for over 30
Aggie chill dude, they are working there way back in to it
Jesus christ dude just stop already with the ref mumbo jumbo! We have as many turnovers as baskets. That has nothing to do with the refs and Tim and Nazr set as many moving picks as anyone else.Quote:

Pop plays Manu in six minute spurts, we've wasted a third of his first rotation without even getting him a touch. That's stupid.
Sonics are shooting 66%
Alright, I'm sorry, I'm glad the refs aren't calling the moving screens that are springing Ray Allen for buckets every time.
Better?
Do you want to win? I sure as hell do.
manu will get his don't worry
:lol Manu gets clobbered, the crowd boos the call.

damn.... Manu looks PISSED!
I'm not relying on the refs to win the game. I am relying on them to officiate the game properly.
If you're the commish and you're gonna be a dick to Van Gundy over moving picks, you need to be consistent in other series.
Man.... Ray Ray is on fire..... We better wake up on defense.
Antonio is starting to look like the punk who started shit at a street ball game back in San Anton'.
Looked like Danierlds tried to rip into Manu's chest. Mortal Kombat-style
Ray is getting freed from Bowen by those nice moving picks you tell me I shouldn't be worrying about.
Wow wtf was Antonio complaining about, if there ever was a foul that was it.
Would somebody fucking knock Antonio Daniels on his ass please?
This is pissing me off.
wow that pick n roll must be their secret weapon.....
Bowen is now my fav player ever.
You'd think after seeing it all last game, we'd think about how to defend it over the last two days.

I am pretty sure I told you guys after the last game that this game would NOT be a cake walk and we would have our hands full. You alla rgued with me and said the Spurs would steamroll. You wake up to reality yet?
Daniels just pounced on Horry, and the call is...?
Damnit, every time they've got Ray Allen guarding Manu we need to put the ball in Ginobili's hands, and put him in foul trouble.
Pop, tony, whoever, THINK. Ray can't guard Manu, at least not without foul trouble.
5 turnovers are stupid :pctoss
Hey, this is reality calling, it's called a moving screen *idiot*.
Manu benched already?
Beno better play better than g.3
Manu that was a golden opportunity lost, Ray Allen guarding Ginobili. We should have been running isos to put ray on the spot defensively.

Wheeeeeeee, keep running the same fucking play for Duncan, keep getting fucked defensively.
Where's the motion POp?
Aggie please just shut the hell up
Barry is into shrivel mode again.Quote:

Well I have been saying for the past two days "there is no way we play that bad on Sunday and they play that good again (in referance to game 3). I guess I was wrong because Seattle is playing like the defending champs. I am impressed.
What moving screens are you talking about? We're running the same play over and over.
oh somebody please tell the refs that if the ball touches the glass it's goal tending
Lets Go Spurs!!! Pick Up The Defensive Intensity And Move On Offense!!!
So, are you wanting some props or something because Seattle came out to play? That's hardly a surprise to anyone.
Most people here said they wanted a blowout, not that they thought there would be one.
As opposed to the one game all season where he wasn't?Quote:

:11.2 SA - D. Brown enters game for R. Horry
great big dog must be in pop's doghouse :rolleyes
Spurs are fortunate to be down by only 2 at the end of the first.
Tony doesn't look very ready to play. how can that be?
We've got to attack the basket.
We're very fortunate to be only down two
Go to the last game blog thread. Just about everyone said we would destroy the Sonics tonight. Look at the vbookie for tonights game. Your stupidity and constant whining is reminiscent of the Sonics themselves man.Quote:

I'm not whining. I've played and seen a lot of basketball in my life, and the only reason Ray Allen is 4-6 and not 1-6 is because he's getting the benefit of illegal moving screens.
That's not whining, it's a fact for anyone who knows what a moving screen looks like.
I am still, however, trying to figure out where "our" moving screens are happening when we're running four down.
Big Dogs on the floor
tp made two layups
and hit a 19 and 20 foot jumop shot
he missed a 6 foot jump shot
he has one assist
he is shooting 4-5
2 rebounds also
Ok whine about that AHF cause TD just got hammered.
ok big dog isn't working out
Man, we're getting killed on the offensive glass. Come on guys.
Big Dog just got in and is pressing, countdown to Pop yanking his chain in 3...2...1...
