Barnes just signed a contract with the fakers for less $$$. He wanted to play on a contender and stated he would take less $$ to do so. He also wanted assurance of a steady gig/minutes. With the lakers he may not have steady minutes. However with the spurs he would have had a starting role and for the same $$$ I would bet had Popazit called him a week ago when he was looking for a job he would have been on a plane to SA pronto.Quote:
