PS Sorry to everyone that all I'm contributing is emoticons, but both of those posts made me laugh out loud and deserved a response.

I know where my neighbor lives and I don't trust him. :hat
Hola hermano, como les fue con la celebracion de la copa en Espana?
Genial! demostramos que somos los mejores del mundo..:toast
Tiago Splitter is that white dude right??? I wouldn't expect that much from him Spurs fans....at least not the 1st year
:elephant
I really done see the Robin Lopez similarities. Maybe defensively they are similar (although i think Robin is the better defender).. but Splitter is the more polished offensive player and has more weapons in his arsenal. The key difference is Splitter should be able to create his own from time to time by operating on the block, where as Lopez hasnt got the offensive game to do that.
In terms of game style, i think Brooke Lopez is the better comparison, although this doesnt mean Splitter will be as good, i just see similarities in their game, albeit slightly watered down similarities.
Brook Lopez is a bit bigger, he's an inch taller and is much longer.
Lopez's Wingspan-7'5.5
Splitter's Wingspan-7'2
Standing Reach
Lopez-9'5
Splitter-9'1.5
Splitter weighed in at 233lbs while Brook is at 260.
Splitter seems to be quicker though
Lane Agility Lopez-12.77 secs 3/4 court sprint 3.57
Lane Agility Splitter-11.65 (that's a huge difference) 3/4-3.38
Keep in mind these stats were taken 3 years ago for Splitter.
Right now Splitter is around 250lbs. I think Splitter will be a better defender than Lopez but I don't think he'll be able to match Lopez's offensive production.
I hope to god that Lopez isn't too soft because Europeans can be too soft.

Lopez can shoot from mid-range. But according to timvp, Splitter hardly shoot.
p.s. I live in China and Yi Jianlian is like Duncan or Garnett in their prime years here.

You guys are really funny. But at the end of the day, I am just happy that the Spurs' FO gave us something to look forward to year after year. Whether it is Tiago Lopez, Gary Bryant, or James Anderson Roy.
I know you guys probably think I am crazy, but I am really grateful that we have R.C. & Pop. We lost so many talented managers to other NBA teams, but somehow we are able to keep R.C. and Pop.
I'm looking forward to seeing if he can guard Dirk. If he can't, we still have McDyess, of course.
lol
Solid bump tbh.
defending pick n rolls >>>> fancy post moves that just distort the offense
and you already bumped like 4 Splitter threads, Bullstard.. enjoy you irrelevance
