Looking at this years Free agents that fit into the category of 3pt shooting big men I was thinking did the spurs do the right thing in signing Bonner to a long term overpriced contract or should they have went with another more affordable 3pt shooting big man instead that probably would of played close to a minimum contract or at least way more affordable than what bonner got.
Here's a list of 3pt shooting big men from this year's free agency that the spurs could of got for cheap inexpensive contracts, I also threw in the Craig brackins and Luke Harongody bc we could of them via the draft for way less then what we payed bonner:
Tim Thomas
Oleksiy Pecherov
Anthony Tolliver
Brian Cook
Brian Scalabrine
Steve Novak
Craig Brackins
Luke Harongody
So would u guys rather have one of the guys above for cheap contracts or was signing Matt bonner to his contract a much smarter and better decision for the spurs
