Re: First Screenshot of Tim Duncan in NBA 2K11
Maybe his sig shot will be better next year? It looks like shit in 2K10. So does everybody else's sig shot for the Spurs. You can't shoot with RJ in that game (well I guess that's kinda realistic but whatevs.)

Re: First Screenshot of Tim Duncan in NBA 2K11
That preview was really interesting.
TD looks nice.
Thanks for posting.

Re: First Screenshot of Tim Duncan in NBA 2K11
He still ownes Kenyon Martin.

Re: First Screenshot of Tim Duncan in NBA 2K11
Looks decent, isn't it more or less the same as 2k10? :/ Haven't played it in awhile.

I'm interested to see how they improved the presentation. I hope they added the playoff atmosphere like Live did last year.
-
Re: First Screenshot of Tim Duncan in NBA 2K11
That looks pretty spot on.

Re: First Screenshot of Tim Duncan in NBA 2K11
He will probably be rated like a 78 overall knowing 2k

The ball is the thing that looks the best.

Re: First Screenshot of Tim Duncan in NBA 2K11
I just wish they would expand the edit functions. Why does it have to be so difficult to change a CPU player's number or change the name of a player that is out of the league to something else that you can use like you can on Madden. At the very least give more space to the create player function.
Live sucks, I think the 2k series is far superior, but it does have some issues.
-
Re: First Screenshot of Tim Duncan in NBA 2K11
Every game has its flaws, but 2K owns Live. I hate that I switched to 2k so late after playing Live for so many years.

I have definitely been a 2k fan over Live. I didn't really like this past years 2k though. This year EA Sports is making NBA Elite 11 and abandoning the live campaign, It's supposed to be pretty different from what live was. I'll have to check it out.

Re: First Screenshot of Tim Duncan in NBA 2K11
They better make Timmy's rating at least 95. Not sure about 2k10 but on 2k9 they had KG's rating 99 just because he was on the cover.
-
Re: First Screenshot of Tim Duncan in NBA 2K11
I think 2K lowered overall player ratings across the board. I think the highest rating last year was a 96 or 97 (Kobe and Lebron).
They'll probably make Tim an 87 or so for 2K11.

Re: First Screenshot of Tim Duncan in NBA 2K11
The Spurs are beasts on 2K10, Timmy is unstoppable and Manu is so good with his stepback 3.

Re: First Screenshot of Tim Duncan in NBA 2K11
Who's the guy that's on the bench?

I was just wondering that. I don't think the Spurs have not had a player with a neckbeard since Cherokee Parks.

I know. In Live, you could always edit positions and numbers. In 2k, you can't.
In the create a player mode, there's such limited options and many of them are so ridiculous looking that you have to make generic, similar looking players to get them to look anything close to how they do in real life.
Then on top of that, it randomizes the player's playing time. For example, if you create Ebanks and Caracter, even if you list them as the 11th and 12th men, they'll not only inexplicably enter the game a few minutes in, they'll also play positions they're not listed at; oftentimes PG.

You can down Tiago Splitter from 2KShare (announcers even say his name in the game and everything) and he's fantastic. They rated him a very solid 76 and it shows. James Anderson has also been doing really well for me lately. He's a killer 3 ball shooter.

Re: First Screenshot of Tim Duncan in NBA 2K11
I am confident in my bank shot with timmy on 2k10. I love knocking it down right in my opponents face. Lately the only teams i lost to with the spurs are the lakers and cavs. and even against those teams i'm 60% win.
thanks for the pic, gets me pump for next season

Re: First Screenshot of Tim Duncan in NBA 2K11
So what does Duncan228 think about it?
Fuck Duncan, I'm picking the game because Jordan is in there

Um, it hasn't come out yet.
Timmy's cyberface has gone unchanged for three years, now. That's a good thing because he looks exactly like the real person. Maybe they could change up his hair or facial hair though?

Re: First Screenshot of Tim Duncan in NBA 2K11
Always been a Live fan over 2k (grew up with the series). Always been devastating with SA using Parker and Manu. TP is ridiculous on the fast breaks and in the open court, and Manu's finishing ability in Live is pretty spot on. Looking forward to the new Elite series though.

Andres Nocioni was the first person to come to mind, even though it doesn't make sense.

Re: First Screenshot of Tim Duncan in NBA 2K11
I like Live Better..... I feel Like I have More Control Of my Player, By Being able to pass to whatever Guy I want, and being able to control whether you crossover, go behind the back, or do a fade away jumper.... I like 2K, But you definately have More control of your player in NBA live..... I cant wait til Nba Elite...

2K usually rates Duncan pretty high. Even last year when 2K10 decided to drop the overall rating on most players, he still ended up w/ a 90 by the end of the season, higher than players like Durant, D. Howard, and Gasol.
The only Spur whom I can think of that 2K doesn't really give enough credit to is Tony Parker.

He couldn't even make layups in 2k9.

2k is way better, I can't even play Live since 96 or so.

:lol Live 95/96' were the last good ones. I used to wreck with Orlando. I consider 2k to be for more skilled gamers while Live is for recreational gamers or kids.

Even if you max out his layups, you still have to time the release perfectly.

you can do all of the above in 2k...with complete control.

Re: First Screenshot of Tim Duncan in NBA 2K11
Tim Duncan was rated a 90 in 2K10 as of the last update. I want to say that he's even rated ahead of Dwight Howard. I can't complain about him. Now I think Ginobili was a little low as an 86 after some of the stuff he's done, but I can understand it. And he rocks in that game. Parker sucks though, I can get him to the basket with ease because he's fast, but you can't hit a shot with him. His sig shot really sucks, so does Duncan's, but I change his to Rasheed Wallace's sig and it looks more like Tim's. I thought the Spurs were rated pretty fairly. I don't like the potential bullshit though. People's ratings should go up and down based on how they play, not their age and 'potential.'

You all are really, really sick and demented. Posting and getting excited about a screenshot of a video game.
So god damned disturbing.

Can you blame them? I mean... god knows what the overall rating for the Miami Heat are this year, and given the fact that there are 3 players that are worthy of 92+ ratings makes it a no-brainer who to pick if you want to beat someone in that game...

Re: First Screenshot of Tim Duncan in NBA 2K11
2k is great dude, live stop being hot after the one with melo on the cover, the one with parker was trash lol but 2k's so far ahead of live it would have to turn it up to the max to make a come back.

Last year Tim was in the low 90's, doubt he'll drop that much. Bet Kobe, Lebron, and Wade will be in the mid to high 90's which is too high for any of them.
