Playoffs? Smith wasn't coming back until OTAs regardless. Hope this doesn't set that back?

My thoughts:
-Loved the play selection first off.. Wasn't aware Dez is a lefty, that shit was beautiful
-Randy Gregory looked good even though he was clearly in pain.. I'm sure he was high af too, so props
-David Irving is coming up quick, dude is hungry. Gruden is already on the bandwagon :tu
-:lmao best fucking punter tackle I've ever seen
-was surprised to see the Cowboys do as good as they did with 6 DB's.. didn't think they had the personnel for that
-as others have said, I agree the Cowboys are the team to beat
Looking forward to the playoffs..

I agreed with everything you said except this. I already bitched about showing this play in this game. What makes that play so easy (or easier) is the fact that he is left handed. I don't think I knew that. And I'm pretty sure most teams never really thought about it. From what "they" say, he has the best arm on the team and can throw it 75 yards. I sure would have liked to keep this in the back pocket and use it in a crucial game.

Yeah I agree this play should have been saved for when we really needed it.. Can't run it again now, however I expect they have several variations of the play ready to try and get the defense to bite.

Gregory wasn't in pain so much as he was winded. He's only been able to participate in full padded practices for a week and hadn't played an NFL game since last winter.

Yep. He's like Terrelle Pryor, a WR with a QB arm but doesn't have the FBIQ to be a full time QB.
Belichick would have saved that for the NFCCG or SB, however.

Nah.. dude was clearly in pain. You could see him grimacing on the ground, and was slow to get up a few times after returning in the 2nd half. I'm sure he was winded though, which is why he was hooked up to the THC tank on the sideline.

I was wondering if it might have been an option read for Dez. Either keep the ball or throw it. So they might have some luck running it again if it makes the defense think for a half second too long. Or maybe he throws back across the field to Dak. In any event, defenses will realize that he can throw the ball. Particularly if he's moving to the left.

Cole Beasley can throw too.. would love to see more gadgets utilizing Dez, Beas, or both because the current group of Lucky Whitehead gadgets all suck dick. Lucky Whitehead is fucking useless, all he does is dance side to side and lose yards.
At least when Dwayne Harris wasn't setting the league on fire with returns, he was a special teams ace, and probably the best gunner in the league.

Harris did have Whitehead's fumbling problem though and still does. You honestly wish returners would take a knee more often. I agree the Dez/Beasley flea flickers and WR pass plays could work especially if Dak is willing to be a receiver, he has good height and body for a receiver as well

Word. Harris was an impact player. Haven't seen much from Lucky. No doubt he's quick as hell but seems to go down pretty easy. McFadden can throw also. I don't want them to get too gimmicky but they've got the personnel to run some trick plays without too much risk. At least less risky running the double reverse and hoping 1) Whitehead catches the toss and 2) doesn't get tackled in the backfield.

I'd worry about asking Dak to do anything like that though because he's a rookie leading the league's best team, and he's clearly happy and enjoying himself out there.. I expect some hating ass, sorry mid tier faggot player to try and ruin that w/ a dirty hit.

I don't know. I sure wouldn't run that for the hell of it. But if the opportunity was there, it might make sense. But maybe only in the red zone where he's not going to be running downfield. He's a solid dude and a legal hit shouldn't take him out. No more so then him running a keeper.
-

There's only 2 players I know of that would do that shit on purpose... for the first one, fortunately we don't play the Cinci Bungles and Burfaggot for another 4 years..... hope we don't run into Green Gay in the playoffs either, hope the Skins and Lions win their home games they should win this weekend to keep those faggots out, but Clay Matthews is the biggest punkhead the league has ever seen, he'd DEFINITELY try to injure someone to help his team win and give himself a laugh.

:lmao What makes this shit extra funny is that you're prolly right.
Nigga almost certainly won't play next year. However if he makes some timely plays in the playoffs his 2nd round price tag might be worth it.
I will say this...he's a liability vs the run. I see Gregory being a good situational pass rusher like Bruce Irvin, tbh..

So is the NFL gonna let the suspense build and suspend Gregory the day before our 1st playoff game? Wait til the off season?

yeah, we're gonna fucking lose.
Nice run this year but probably only chance to ever get to play the SB in Texas with this group. NFL will get their dream matchup of their gay pretty boy faggots in Brady vs. Rodgers where the only good outcome will be an ISIS nuke hitting the stadium, preferably when that sorry excuse for a singer Lesbo GaGa is on stage annoying everybody.

I agree. I think with our secondary healthy and our pass rush developing the way it has we can limit Green Bay to 24 points or less.
Their defense is shit as evidenced by Detroit moving the ball at will against them last night.
The only team that worries me is the Giants.
