So when are you going to start with critical thinking skills instead of a lemming to the media? You post things like the "corexit" when that story is impossible as implied.

No, I see so many things I don't like. I don't buy the Carlin comedy stuff as real because I know I have a choice. It's the people like you who claim to be libertarian, but want to authoritatively change what we have. Change needs to come by education. Not force.

You dont have a choice about Corexit. You dont have a choice about govt expansion and govt spending. No matter what you do or who you vote for, its gonna happen.

WC, do you really think a few tea baggin Congresspeople, if elected, will vote for any Dem legislation or against any Repug legislation?
Do you think they will introduce any tea bagger-loving/radical legislation that has a terror baby's chance of growing up to become govt-terrorizing law?
Now that people like you have handed corps and capitalists so much power that it exceeds all control and challege, how do you take their power out of DC and re-enfranchise voters?

Do you think you deserve an honest forthright response when you speak of them that way?

I go ahead and at times release my daily frustration here. Keeps me a sane and civil person in real life. You however, have nothing but hate, all the time. I wonder at times if I should pity you rather than get upset at you. I wonder just how pitiful your life must be.

"have nothing but hate, all the time"
yep, I truly hate the effects of 30+ years of conservatives, Repugs, class warfare, hate media, polarization, divisiveness, rabble rousing, the widespread criminal fraud, the ersatz self-interested reality created by media and corporations, the botched, bogus wars, the 100s of 1000s of dead and maimed in those wars, the $Ts wasted, the $Ts handed to the MIC has had on the USA, on me personally, and on my kids.
You assholes wanted polarization, well, you got one polarized guy here, but you Wizard of Oz fake fuckers wimp out and whine about somebody throwing the shit back in your faces.

You realize George Carlin was a drug-inhibited comedian whose sole purpose was to create wealth through entertainment.

You repubs need to look at the big picture. This guy was watching society very closely, as a nationally-known commentator since the early 60's. The guy lived through turbulent times...he also had the unique perspective of access.
His scepticism was not based on drug use, but on seeing our country commit the same mistakes over and over. He didnt believe in change or progress because we never learned from the Vietnam debacle. We never learned from the corruption that has been prevelant in our govt throughout his lifetime and probably forever.
Most important, he never bought the party line, he never bought the company line, he knew that almost everything that is "told" to the masses is spun by someone somewhere. You suckers that buy the conservative commentary from Rupert's minions are just as foolish as those who buy the liberal agenda. Except, your behind-the-scenes "handlers" have much more sinister tendencies to achieve their goals..

what George says is that the planet will recover, he says nothing about whether the current planet-destroying race, "fleas", will survive.
George was great, I never tire of re-watching his shows. same with Chris Rock and Lewis Black.

What repugs think is that profits/personal wealth will shield them from destruction of human habitat that follows irresponsible exploitation.
Shielded by gated neighborhoods and resources to buy necessities for the fam when clean unspoiled sustenance habitat comes in short supply.
What then discourages the scorched-earth corporate policies that we already see in place? When BP leaders can leave "little people" of the Gulf coast stranded eyeball-deep in the muck and flee to yacht races and personal retreats?

The only problem: this is a short-sighted strategy that comes back to bite you in the ass when you realize our fates as people of one nation are tied. Many who consider themselves among the strong will realize that 1. they are preyed upon just like everyone else, and 2. they arent as strong as they think they are, and 3. the "prey" can become predators at the drop of a hat

You dont even have to wait that long to find yourself held at gunpoint by someone of a lower-class persuasion with nothing left to lose...someone with a full blown addiction or a family to provide for and no way to do so.
I know all you repugs are cheering the demise of the lower and middle class, but if you understood the interconnected nature of things, the ties that exists between all citizens and even some non, you would understand that the weak link is where the chain snaps....the weak rung breaks first...the tire showing cords is the first to blow...just hope you aint around.

See if you repugs can figure out what this means:
Quote:
An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity. Martin Luther King, Jr.
How bout this one:
Quote:
We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools. Martin Luther King, Jr.
One more:
Quote:
Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be. This is the interrelated structure of reality. Martin Luther King, Jr.
