Look..I know I shouldnt do this, but I have a good feeling about you. Here's a valuable piece of information that should help with your stalking. A certain former Spur, and future Hall of Famer is known to have a residence in The Dominion, and he lives on Admiral's Way. You'll know it's his house by the huge Spur logo painted on center court in his backyard. Good luck.
Wished I have seen any of the players...out of town
Wished I lived in San Antonio for this to be possible.
Nice stories though ST :tu
During that 99 Blazers series, a friend and I were bartending and got several of the Blazers skunk drunk on the house. They hung around until we closed at 2am. The Spurs crushed them the next day. Makes you wonder how often this kind of thing happens.
Not a bluff, just a decade off...
It was 1989.
Game 3May 10Portland Trail [email protected] San Antonio Spurs121
Nice try though.
Seen Manu 3 times at the Best Buy by the Rim.
Seen Tony driving to practice. (I live a few blocks from the spurs practice facility).
Seen Matt Bonner, RC buford, & Danny ferry at Freebirds.
All my experiences came from when i was working at the movie Northwoods movie theater between 2002-2004.
I saw Parker many times, sometimes he would go with Malik, sometimes with his girl Lola or something like that. He would go during the day on a weekday, nobody in line and once just talked to me for about 5 to 10 minutes asking me about the different movies.
Duncan went several times, he would go during peak hours too, he didn't care. I remember ripping his ticket, he was going to watch the Sum of All Fears.
I saw Elliott a few times with his wife. Didn't talk to him.
Malik Rose got fruit punch from concessions, he asked me if it was cold and he touched the side of the cup and said oh yeah, thats how i like it. haha
Stephen jackson came in wearing that huge silver necklace, he definitely got a crowd around him. Never talked to him.
I saw steve smith once, never talked to him.
I saw Mengke Bateer once, he came during a saturday night. I was working the box office and i look up and see four people in line and then right behind them some huge 7 footer. He's a big guy.
And I also saw Michael Vick once and Sean Michaels once too.

Fuck you and Kobe.
The difference between me and you is that I recall what I did, while you just grab words and paste them to Google and cross reference.
The 89-90 season, the Blazers were kicking the shit out of the Spurs, but after than night, they lost their ass the next day. They were dragging up and down the court because they were hanging.
I didn't say "Hey EricD, prove me wrong..."
I was sharing an experience, not writing a fucking sporting news column.
What, are you intimidated because you don't have any experiences to share? If you want, you can have some of mine.. really, I won't tell.
Don't you have some nice screenshot from your video game or some cool yourtube link?
I watched The Da Vinci Code a few rows back from Tim and Amy at Silverado theatre. They are both very nice.
When I worked at Academy, a few Spurs frequented the store like Tony Parker and Malik Rose. Helped Devin Brown load some items into his truck.
I used to live in the same neighborhood as Iceman and would see him around, as well as at Academy. That dude loves his boats and fishing gear.
I also saw Robin Lopez when I was in Phoenix driving around the city.
No, it's not like that at all. There's a distinct difference between remembering a title year and remembering one game in a playoff series 20 years ago.
Oh please, can I be on your level? Can I also be self-important on a basketball forum and nitpick reminiscing posts for dates?
So admit it, you are intimidated. It's easy to lob shots from behind your obscurity, but what do you have to offer other than a cherubic upturned visage and a gaping maw?
I saw George Hill inside the Frost Bank at 1604 before Blanco last Wednesday. I've been living in SA for about 2 years and that was the first time I had ran into a Spur.
Met Sean Marks and his wife at a wedding reception. Nice people. His cousin coincidentally married a SA gal when he first signed with the Spurs.
Met Malik at Best Buy at 281 and 1604. He was standing in back of me in the mechandise return line. Asked him if he was coming back to the Spurs, he said "you never know" he smiled as if he wished he could. He was with the Knicks.
Said hi to George Hill at HEB at 281 and Evans.
And my favorite, met the Iceman at the Bank of America on the other side of 281 and Evans.
