But the thing is, because he's so important to the team, he wouldn't no matter what be able to do so.
The same people who are getting on me for being upset with Glenn for missing today would be the same people calling for Duncan's head for not playing and throwing the series.
It's that simple.
I'm not condemning Glenn.
But to me, 7 days is enough time to get your emontions in check and be ready to perform at your job.

Re: Glenn "Big Dog" Robinson...
It hasn't been a problem, so why worry about "what ifs"?
You're calling out someone whose mother died, whose superiors told him to take all the time he needed, and (least importantly) who would not have made any difference in the previous 3 games.
Not only is your take ludicrous, it's irrelevant.

I've known his mother died the day Express News reported it.
I was fine with the first two games.
He needed to do whatever he had to.
But the guy has a job.

Re: Glenn "Big Dog" Robinson...
I agree.
I mean, imagine if your mom died but a forum depended on you, relied on your amazing ability to keep it abreast of all major retail, office, and residential developments in the greater San Antonio area. What do you do? Oh, what do you do?
Do you leave that keyboard? Do you not power up that laptop?

dude you gotta be shitting me? First of all its none of your business and secondly the people whose business it is said to take as long as was needed. Apologise and move on as this is the weakest, most tasteless shit I have ever seen on this forum.

It's not your job to decide where that job lies on his priority list. It's his employers'. Take it up with ownership if you don't like it. Maybe next you'll target companies who give their employees too many weeks of vacation.

Re: Glenn "Big Dog" Robinson...
When I lived in L.A., one of my business partners died suddenly. My other partner (his girlfriend) took about 4 months off of work. It wasn't even her relative -- just her long-term boyfriend. You can't judge how long people need to recover from a death of a loved one. Some people go to work the next day -- because that's how they handle it. Some people can't even leave their bed for while -- because that's how they handle it.

I'm not cold hearted.
If you think I am, you're in need for a brain transplant.
I have volunteered over 20 times at the Bexar County Humane Society Shelter. I've seen homeless people and bought them food and taken it back to them.
I rushed to conclusion, to a judgment that was ill concieved.
I'm sorry.

Due to comments made in this very thread helps my theroy that you might in fact be cold hearted, so no, I dont think Im in need of a brain transplant.
Congratulations on the fact that you volunteered at the Bexar County Humane Society Shelter, hopefully it was not required as an act of community service.
BDB all Im saying is that you made a few tasteless remarks on the board, and Im glad to see some E-Remorse on your part.
and your E-apology is E-accepted by myself.
