I liked him at the time he took the helm. Like I said, he is a charismatic and successful Republican, former Lieutenant Governor, and former Chair of GOPAC. I wasn't aware of anything not to like about him at the time he was elevated to RNC Chair.Quote:

While they may not have been "tokens", it sure seemed like they were being used to make a rather obvious point in a ham-handed way. The cynical side of my brain would use the term "cynically-manipulated", but I would give even the GOP leaders *some* benefit of the doubt.
