In all seriousness...
Congrats on being 35-6 at the halfway point. :toast
I'm not here to bombard you with LOL's and pyrite tonight, just showing props. I don't think anyone (including Spurfan) could've envisioned such a fast start to the season for the Spurs. Ya'll should be proud. Of all the possible opponents LAL could get in the WCF, I hope it ends up being you happy-go-lucky bastards. :lol

spurs should have 3 less losses damm it

Re: In all seriousness...
its weird really...not the way we do things. but I guess with a good looking offense these kind of things happen.

Thanks... Sorry about the Clippers lost it can happen to the best of them.

Re: In all seriousness...
Well I'll say you certainly are one of the most classy Laker fans on the board when all is said and done.
Likewise, I'll give the Lakers incessant shit/trolling/etc. over the course of an 82 game season, but in reality I respect them the most of all other teams. Lakers and Spurs have been the titans of the NBA for a decade. When the Spurs fell last playoffs to Phoenix, I was secretly rooting for the Lakers to win it all. If not us, I want our powerhouse old guard arch-rival Lakers team to win.

Re: In all seriousness...
:lol at calling DD classy.
Is he a Spurs fan? No. Then he is not classy.

tbh I rooted for SAS in 3 of their 4 NBA Finals. 1999 was the exception cause the Knicks were an 8th seed and I was on the underdog bandwagon.

Well it's a real talk thread so I have to say it like it is.
Outside of the rare topics like these I've made fun of plenty of Lakers fans, including DD, and I'll certainly continue to do it.
But, at the end of the day, real talk props must be given, but not too often otherwise it defeats the endless fun of trolling on this forum.

You buying Spurs apparel now?
You go from considering us flukes to respecting us because of one game? Or was it the fact that the Clippers kicked the shit out of your disoriented team while we kicked the shit out of the Nuggets?
Fuck off.

Much anger in this one.

Re: In all seriousness...
All I hope for is an epic WCF with the Spurs taking out the Lakers in 6 or 7 games then going on to take out any of the Leastern conference teams that luck their way to the finals.
-
Re: In all seriousness...
it's not that surprising to me that they have this record. i been saying they're much better than what everyone thinks since the summer while everyone was listening the Chris Broussards and Jalen Rose's of the world count us out.
-
Re: In all seriousness...
and i still wanna see ur mug uglycrynasty.
-
Re: In all seriousness...
Why it's such a surprise to anyone but LAL Bandwagon and the 4-letter is beyond me. There were many pre-season publications that had the Spurs going to the WCF's,
Many of us feel they're more capable than that. I only got 12-1 odds in Vegas :( I was hoping for another 15-1 like I got for 2003.

Re: In all seriousness...
DD is a cool kid. He is just a Lakers fan, so you have to grade him on a curve. He is terrible at trolling, but he digs good tunes. I think he likes girls, too. Which puts him a notch above most Lakers fans on ST.

This awesome record makes each game a little more exciting to watch, but the Spurs fan who keeps it real knows it is ultimately meaningless once playoffs roll around.

It's not meaningless as far as HCA goes.

Shit. You're right. I guess it just didn't seem like it because they were playing Phoenix and it didn't matter.
