Also consider that the NexGen PSP, to be released late this year or early 2012, will be nearly as powerful as the Ps3, while being only slightly larger than the original PSP.

As for the video card, I personally went with the 6950 from ATI. It's almost as fast as the 570, for about $60 less, and you can put that $60 toward crossfiring the vid cards.
But yeah, the 570 is a great card.
Personally for a display I recommend this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-222-_-Product
It's only 23", but it's 120hz, should make a big difference in games and movies.

My associate the office actually has one of those U2410 monitors and it's an
8-bit IPS display.
The HP you listed is also
8-bit IPS. Looks good, but it's a bit dated.
Hopefully Cry won't get mad at me (lol), but that Acer monitor is
actually TN
Could have quoted all of your quotes, but I'll just stick to the first two.
The monitor is fucking killing me. I havent been computer shopping in years and I learned a thing or three in my brief time shopping about these past few days.
My needs:
1. Less than 24" - my desk area cannot accommodate a super large display.
2. Must be 16:10 ratio - minimum 1920 x 1200 native res is what I have now and will not change
3. HDCP compliant - why the hell not?
4. HDMI - duhhhh...
5. ≤5ms response time (roughly, I can live with 6ms) - also a duuhhh...
My wants:
1. 120Hz would be nice, but I doubt my needs will allow this.
2. IPS - did a lot of reading...this is the next gen montior.
3. LED backlight - again, might not line-up with needs
Sorry CH, that Acer isnt 16:10, which bums me out. Seen it on Newegg and thats about the only drawback I could find.
Re: Epic's stunning next-gen Unreal video
Also, it seems HDCP only works through the DVI port?!
Meaning if I use an HDMI cord, I wont be able to play BluRays without AnyDVD HD?!
Re: Epic's stunning next-gen Unreal video
BTW, I am still using a Dell 2405FPW
http://accessories.dell.com/sna/prod...p&sku=320-4221
Its a 12ms response time @ 76Hz x 81 Hz (whatever the hell that means, I think its 60Hz)

I got a blu ray for my comp and used a 25' dvi to hdmi and I ran into the same problem. It sucked, but AnyDVD has been pretty useful, esp for ripping blu ray dvds. It is lame as hell to have to buy it just to watch something though.

I don't think a cigarette would cause a head to move that much

16:9 really bums you out that much? The difference between 1920x1200 and 1920x1080 will be imperceptible 99.99% of the time.

I'll take the 60 hz extra over the 120 pixels any day of the week.

Hmmm, youre making me consider...
Re: Epic's stunning next-gen Unreal video
AFAIK, all HDMI include HDCP. On DVI, it's optional, although almost all newish monitors support HDCP through the DVI port...
As far as an 24" IPS monitor that's 16:10, the U2410 seems to be the best rated out there ATM...
