:cheers here's to a parker-esque recovery. I still say work him back in slow and keep him rested and protected for the PO's
holy shit am i smiley inept. what's the one for the glass raising dude? dont tell me something as easy as :glass
so I guess this means even more playing time for splitter
Duncan sprained his ankle March 20 in '05, hurt it again against the Sonics in the Playoffs, and raised both Trophies that June. Hope this one isn't as bad and he's back soon.
Tough, tough schedule coming up. Hopefully the Spurs can whether the storm.
I've said this a gajillion times, so apologies to those who are tired of reading it:
When you've hurt your ankles before, turning it again hurts like a fucking bitch. That's why Duncan rolls on the floor holding his ankle like it's destroyed. It's also why Kobe thought his season was over the other day and was surprised that his foot wasn't flopping on the end of his leg. There's simply no way to tell the severity at the moment, but if there was a thumbs up, it's sort of likely that it started to feel better almost immediately. Someone at the game should keep an eye out to see if he walks out in street clothes without a limp in the second half.
duncan will play against denver...book it
well sean just said that the ankle sprain is not that bad and maybe be out acouple weeks
sucks though....tough games coming up.....spurs need duncan:(
2 weeks is not that bad. He can play 5-6 games before the playoffs start
Damn...
My first impression on the box score is that Splitter played so well so that Pop is able to rest Duncan...
This means we probably won't be clinching early... it's going to come down to the wire. Hopefully Splitter can fill the void. This could be a blessing in disguise for us, getting Tiago heavy into the rotation.
now we can be able to see how good tiago is
Ok, injuries are never good...but 2 weeks to let the ankle recover also means 2 weeks of rest for his knees. Contrary to what was mentioned earlier in the this thread, an ~80% Tim is required to advance through even the first round, let alone any further.
There is also a solid chance that it could be a very small tweak and Pop/the training staff would rather just be safe and use this time to let him rest. The first seed is all but locked up and with tough games coming up this is also a way of not allowing teams to build confidence off of winning games against us since any wins are tainted for the other team.
do the spurs need to sign another big
They said 2 weeks after like an hour later ? He shouldnt even tak leg out of ice in that time.
