The man is a living god. He can sit on the Pistons logo at center court if he wants.
His ears are very sensitive, I'm sure he can hear the bouncing ball and squeaking shoes and has a perfect mental picture of the game!
I'm guessing it had something to do with the fact that he did the pre-game show. He's already there, might as well stay and atleast enjoy the environment. I'd imagined the intesity of the crowd and the announcer is enough to have fun at a game, without the visuals.

:)
My guess would be that he has the money and enjoys the excitement. Why, do you have something against the blind?

Piston Fan suddenly develops a soft spot. How touching...
i can feel a statement about the officiating and the refs coming...
Wow, I came to the Spurs board because of the class and decency shown by the Spurs fans. I can not stand the Pistons boards due to comments made by them, please tell me this is not the norm here?Quote:

Spurs are :king
stevie wonder is going with 2pac to Thug'z Mansion... :spin
Odd thread.
Why would anyone question why Stevie was there? He did the Anthem and he was enjoying basketball.
I didn't know Stevie went by the name Steve???
He was acting all crazy. I thought something was wrong with him.
I think Stevie is thinking of becoming a ref....might as well.
Don't F*CK with Stevie.
Mebbe the best thing to come outta detroit since the Edsel.
i thought the classical/blues rendition of the national anthem was pretty sweet... and he didnt go all john popper and scale it up either. classic.
Stevie was awesome last night..why shouldn't he be there? like someone else said, blind people can picture things in their mind...I'm sure he was having fun...his version of the national anthem was amazing
I thought it was great. The man is a legend, he can sit where he wants. Then again, I used to volunteer for the San Antonio Low Vision club so I guess I have a soft spot.
Oh also, former Spurs player Tom Garrick's dad was blind and he once said he could enjoy the game more because it was left to his imagination.
i love stevie wonder, but there's roughly 10 million jokes being killed in this thread.
i said thie in the chatroom an i,ll say it again"stevie wonder was 20 times better than that woman who sang it sunday night,,,fack me ,she put the shits up my cats.
He's blind btw... his world is based on the sounds smells and vibrations. He was just really having a good time. It was nice to see him smile. When they showed him wiggling around that was just him "getting" into it.Quote:

i love stevie wonder... he did 10 times better than the canadian and robert horry, but these jokes are getting hard to pass up.
the only 3 blind guys that i noticed, had whistles. (joke)
stevie wonder was at the game... he might be blind, but he still had better court vision than manu. (joke)
and no... im not being a butthead. my cousin and aunt are blind. we always joke about this kind of stuff.
I heard on the news that Stevie is a huge Pistons fan. But what I want to know is how does he know that he likes them?
When the camera on ABC TV cut to Stevie Wonder dancing and chanting I knew we were fucked.
Stevie definitely threw some good mojo on the pistons. Enough to erase the bad memories of a washed up aretha franklin and anita baker from last year's finals.
