Look I don't care...honestly I am tired of fighting the Barry hate...there is nothing that Barry can do to not be hated by Spurs fans. Nothing...the guy explodes on the road against Phoenix in a much more impressive 4th quarter display than Steve Kerr or Stephen Jackson ever pulled off...did it stop the hate?

No...it was "expected".

This series...his best game also was on the road....and he was nearly perfect from the field...was that a good game? No...he made 1 turnover when Detroit sprung a trap on him..it was neither a truly bad pass(since it hit the passee in the hand) and it was also the right thing to do......but so therefore he's a choker.

Fuck ya'll. You can't beat that kinda hate....it's not going to change. I give up on that...you can't beat blind fucking hate.


But what I can do is point out when everyone is all over Devin's jock and wanting to sign him to a long term deal...

A.We've never won shit with his big heart games.

and

B. He's got a bad back that has basically rendered him useless in the first round 2 years in a row.

C.I don't hate Devin, I just go by the results..not by whether or not someone "looks scared" or "plays with heart"...but the people I am arguing with in this thread definitely hate Brent Barry...because they don't like his body language or something...It's like dogs going after a mailman or something...it's very feral, and animalistic, the hate the this board has for Barry.

But anyway...

So exactly how much do you want to give Devin and build around him, given the impact he has had and considering he has a back condition?
