She'll be on a book tour in no time.
I imagine WC can't wait to vote for Bachmann
I'm curious to see if she'll run for re-election to Congress.
the tea party is not gonna have its way with the GOP this go around. no chance Bachmann sniffs a VP nod
The truth is that voters like WC scare me.
....you can also throw angel_luv in that group of voters that scare me
Scare you? Why? There are more of us than you know, and this (anti)progressive politics only does our nation harm.
The people who scare me are the 47%.
What percentage of voters stalk people via satellite?
.....and nothing of value was lost.
:madrun This is bullshit!! :madrun
:rollin
:lmao no. He lost because W's approval rating was at like 29% and it was easy to associate McCain with George Bush. It would have taken a miracle for the GOP to win in 2008.
I would probably vote for any "smaller government" candidate over Obama. I'm not worried about their primary pandering to the right, because there is no way they could ever get that moral/social agenda passed. As for the question about Perry...as governor is a scary conservative running in the primary, a moderate in the general election, and pragmatist as governor.
Nothing says "small government" like victims of rape being forced by the government to have a kid
The vote was 52.9% to 45.7%. Blacks turned out in probably double the numbers they normally do and was so close to 100% voting for Obama, it was ridiculously racial.
I'm pretty sure the outcome would have been different if Obama was white, especially when you include the whites who also wanted to see history made.
Whites who "wanted to see history made" with a black president are people who'd vote democrat anyway.
Please link me a source regarding your conjecture that "double" the amount of black people showed up and voted.
And there were plenty of dumb rednecks out there who normally don't vote but voted in 2008 because the dreaded the reality of a black president. It's retarded to act like being black didn't cost Obama any votes either.
Probably the same types, but they had more motive to actually vote than in previous elections.
First of all, I said "probably double" which is cleanly an opinion. I think the facts of complaints of their not being enough voting machines in black neighborhoods is proof enough, since they are allocated by past voting history.
I laugh at the thought that the GOP represents small government. Starting as many wars as possible and keeping drugs outlawed for no reason isn't exactly small government.
cowboy playing the "i'm not a racist" race card. lol
lol the Bachmann lovers delusional enough to think any sane candidate would pick that wacko cunt as the VP
your shitty bible thumping house wife is about to be as irrelevant as your previous bible thumping house wife is now
The big problem is that your average republican these days preach "down with socialism! (but save medicare, social security, etc)".
Basically, they want the socialism, they just don't want it called that.
I think regardless of if she was convinced, or if she came to the decision herself, she decided that America didn't need another McCain candidate where the conservative vote was split with Huckster and Mitt.
Quite frankly the amount of tax payer money this country uses to keep people in their 80s alive at the expense of education for people 20 years and younger who actually have something to contribute to society is appalling.
Bachmann claims she is not a politician
“I am a very real person, I am not a politician,” she said during a speech to her supporters. “Nor do I ever hope or aspire to be a politician.”

Watching someone who incessantly whines about welfare and big government continuously argue that tax dollars should go towards healthcare of people who were irresponsible and didn't save up enough to take care of themselves if really hilarious tbh.
But to answer your question, I plan on proper diet and exercise most of my life, along with saving up a lot of money before I retire. If my health deteriorates to a certain point I'd much rather die then live out the rest of my days miserably.
Almost all senior citizens 75 years or older (especially ones in nursing homes) are on some kind of anti-depressant, be it Lexapro, Effexor, Celexa, or something else. They realize they've become nothing more than piss and shit factories and really dont want to be alive anyways

Apparently you only see things in black and white. Maybe you should think about the differences, and how I have already explained what I feel are valid exceptions.Quote:

What about the handicapped? Just let them die? What about the elderly who did plan, but already liquidated their assets as required for some benefits? Shouldn't we at least allow for a more comfortable living or our seniors last years with us?Quote:

That's why we have living wills. Oregon has assisted suicide. This gets complicated here though. My personal view is different than others, but shouldn't we consider the person's wishes? Some people are afraid to die, and takes a long time for them to accept it. Some never do.
Great counter argument. As ElNono said, welfare is welfare, and socialism is socialism. Medicare is a form of both welfare and socialism. You support welfare and socialism in a way by supporting medicare.
Going by Republican logic where you always blame the victim, it's their fault they didn't have more assets to liquidate.
If easing a person's transition is this issue, give them a nice, civilized assisted suicide when their healthcare gets too expensive. Some old cunt who's been smoking 2 packs a day her entire life and needs lung cancer treatment shouldn't be the taxpayer's responsibility.
Agreed.
Something that pisses me off is seeing someone get a heart, liver, or lung transplant that are abusing themselves with drugs of some sort, when others who take care of themselves need them too. Isn't the better candidate the one who will likely not destroy the new ones like they did the ones that they originally had?
That's why I support a universal healthcare system that's literally done on a case by case basis. Self inflicted health problems should mean they're on their own, health problems they couldn't avoid should be covered. Age itself though should not be grounds for complete government healthcare coverage.
when have you ever said you like socialism in certain areas?
