Cougar Cruise sounds like an adventure...But seriously. I received a Valentine in the mail today and they sent a box of those candied hearts. Apparently, they make a sour variety nowadays.

Yeah, the chalky ones that always vary in texture from stale mushy to crispy chalky...they were interesting. Apparently they have a cinnamon based one as well. I suppose eating them when I didn't know who sent them might've been a fail in judgment, but I'm still alive at the moment.

Speaking of unusual Valentines... I received a Mocha Latte cigar from a friend; I had never smoked a cigar in my life but it was an interesting experience.

LOL I have too many crazy exes to do that. If they aren't from the wife or kids then they go in the trash.

I am not a cigar smoker (no homo) but will give it a shot every now and then. I'll try different ones but won't buy anything without talking to someone first. I want to buy a small humidor to keep some for special occasions.

When I was in my early 20's (before the wife and kids) I always had the viejas on me. I would get the shy smiles, the bold ones that would hang on my neck and tell me some crazy things and the ones that would come up and just start conversations.
The last time it happened it was two sisters that wanted to go out and have a good time. I guess the plan was to get a couple of younger guys drunk and have a good time with them. I was naive and thought they just wanted to hit the bar and drink and dance. The things that lady said in my ear though... geez Louise. At the time I considered them old. Now in my 30's and looking back... lol I guess I thought a lot of people were old and they really weren't. Either way it was fun.
They had a need to feel the thunder. To chase the lightening from the sky.

Funny how time slips away. :lol
i still feel good, the day laborers still open the door for me at Tiger Mart. Had an older guy next to me at a light, in a 66' vette convertible tip his hat to me! :toast

I'd open the door for you. Of course I have some gray now.
I had my fun in my youth. I am in a good place now. Along the way I learned a few things that the wife appreciates and hopefully thinks I made up lol

City? How about the whole freakin' world. We moved to the country 20 something years ago to get away. Now the city's moving out here! FML

When the backroads of suburbia aren't safe from rush hour it's time to do some house cleaning

Calm down everyone. This is not a Cougar Cruise. It's just a regular cruise. If there are interesting and interested younger men on the ship it is purely coincidence, that's not the reason for this cruise. I didn't even know there was such a thing as a Cougar Cruise until a few weeks ago DJR210 informed me. And now he mentions it again. I think he's the one who wants a Cougar Cruise!

Re: The completely random thought thread - Part 1
There's no logic in a lot of people. I'm no genius, I'm far from perfect, but some people are stuck in a infant frame of mind. It's as if their mental capacity stopped evolving with their body. And don't attempt to rationalize with them, it'll only drive you up the wall. It's either get rid of them, or quarantine them. If it's family, outright avoid them. Handling them accordingly will save time, and add valuable quality of life to your expectancy. Not that living long is any sort of benefit, in fact I think it's the opposite, but still. At least you can have less aggravation while you're still conscious.
And imagine if you give birth to one of these people. It's highly likely, as the world is comprised primarily with these people. I can understand why parents disown their kids etc. And these people typically give birth to the lot of the planet.
