you are speaking only for yourself and spurs fans who don't care if the Spurs win the championship

Re: Injury Thread: Bonner Leaves Game 2
For what its worth, I think Bonner has the potential to be more valuable than Splitter this series. If he can shoot his normal 3pt % then he'll own the Jazz like a silent assassin. So here's to hoping he's ready to go in games 3 and 4.

That doesn't really make sense if he wants the Spurs to get rid of a guy who's failing to help out on the glass. The idea being that more boards=a better chance at a championship of course.

Re: Injury Thread: Bonner Leaves Game 2
I don't know if anyone else saw this but right as it happened, I thought Favors stepped on Bonner's foot and then collided with him. Because his foot was stuck, it looked like his leg torqued awkwardly and then he went down. At least thats what I saw.

boards are just one aspect of basketball
Bonner has proven his value despite being sub-par on the boards
only idiots think losing Bonner makes the Spurs better

That's a better explanation imo. I personally come from the Bonner>Blair school of thought so I'm hoping this isn't anything serious.

Re: Injury Thread: Bonner Leaves Game 2
Matty injures injuries. He'll be back to his shit-taking self in no time.

Re: Injury Thread: Bonner Leaves Game 2
Looks like a hip pointer. Bonner landed directly on his left hip and was still on it when Favors landed on him.

Re: Injury Thread: Bonner Leaves Game 2
Only thing bonner has proven is that he's fucking trash against bigs who aren't soft

How do you explain game 1?
-
Re: Injury Thread: Bonner Leaves Game 2
Pop said Splitter should be back on Thursday. As for Bonner, well, he really isn't that big of a contributer in the playoffs.

Did you see him out there today? He was getting abused by the Jazz frontline, didnt grab a single board and probably gave up about 4-5 offensive rebounds. I think the Jazz cut the Spurs 14 point lead to like 5 with him out there and as soon as Diaw replaced him they went on a 22-2 run and didnt look back. Ginger aint no silent assassin tbh.

Lol game 1 forgotten quickly

Re: Injury Thread: Bonner Leaves Game 2
I have been the biggest Bonner hater here and I don't know which game you guys were watching but Bonner took a very hard hit and he earned my respect tonight.
Bonner is much tougher than Tiago and I was/am one of the biggest Tiago homers.
Somebody watch that replay because if Bonner is not injured, he just might be one of the toughest Spurs.

Re: Injury Thread: Bonner Leaves Game 2
All the people on here saying we are better without bonner are idiots, so tell me then who do you want to replace him blair? Bonner may not be the perfect big but he spreads the floor as stupid and repetitive as it sounds it is true and his defense is much better than what most people on here say it is. Remeber having Splitter, Bonner combo out there helps both players out to perform better as opposed to the turd towers we saw tonight for a bit.

Re: Injury Thread: Bonner Leaves Game 2
Hope Matty heals soon. If he can revert back to Game 1 style play, he can be efficient as hell
