In 08 with a limping Ginobili coming out of a game 7 against the Hornets the league set the next PO matchup with a b2b in the first 2 games, basically killing any spurs chance to win at LA and making the rest LA had very usefull.
If there is a b2b in the next round series it should be the first two, giving the Spurs a great edge (beause of the rest and a tired opponent) as they did to them against LA.

Stern has pulled a lot of cowardly stuff for his Lakers over his and their careers but Games 1 and 2 in 2008 were Wed and Friday.

Wait, I thought all or most of the four remaining series would have b2b's because of the "quirky" scheduling. But it seems like the Spurs series is the only one with a b2b. What kind of shit is that? That's one heck of a coincidence.
