Re: World Wrestling Entertainment thread
Warrior signed the 2 year contract knowing his health was in decline. It was kind of a way to say goodbye and get money to help his family. Vince is going to honor the contract and pay the money to his family. Crazy to see all this unfold. I kind of saw him being a little weak when he shook the ropes and he swayed a bit when going back up the ramp. Incredibly sad. RIP Warrior.

Re: World Wrestling Entertainment thread
Man, the tribute to Ultimate Warrior to kick off RAW last night really had me going. :cry
RIP Ultimate Warrior

Re: World Wrestling Entertainment thread
Apparently sting has shown up on the wwe network for warrior docs. Maybe they signed him to a legends deal
-
Re: World Wrestling Entertainment thread
While it is a shame about the Ultimate Warrior it's more of a shame that the WWE didn't give Randy Savage that kind of respect when he passed on, he was a bigger name that the Ultimate Warrior who was actually sort of a joke.

We may neverknow what happened with Steph and the Macho Man.
But yeah, it's time to give Randy what he deserves.

He's not signed yet...he has the contract...just hasn't signed it. Not sure if he'll have a match yet...maybe at WM31...but maybe not.

I'm sure they want some kind of licensing deal he doesn't really need a match

No..he doesn't...and yeah, I know you're right...but one retirement match would be pretty amazing.

Re: World Wrestling Entertainment thread
They've been clamoring for a Sting vs Undertaker match, and now that the streak is over it makes more sense.

It's nice of the WWE to remind us that the Intercontinental Championship and the United States Championship still exist.

They do this occasionally, and get the fans thinking the belts are relevant again only for the WWE to forget about them a couple of weeks/months later. :lol

Re: World Wrestling Entertainment thread
Daniel Bryan is possibly going to miss 6 to 8 weeks due to a neck injury. What a bummer. :depressed
-
Re: World Wrestling Entertainment thread
Bob Baklund was the most boring WWWF/WWF/WWEWorld Champion.
Is this Bryan neck surgery thing an angle or for real? I'd guess if it's for real that would help in bringing back CM Punk.
-
Re: World Wrestling Entertainment thread
With the WWE you never know. :lol But it does sound like it's real.

If this is a real deal the guy might never rassle again, that would suck, he is a great performer. Yes that...YES! YES! YES!...bullshit sucks, but ya can't have it all.
The powers that be need to break up The Shield all three of those guys could make it as single rasslers. And without Bryan and Punk they need all the help they can get. I'd turn Cena into a heel, nobody likes him anyway.
-
Re: World Wrestling Entertainment thread
When I buy the WWE (next check) there will be some changes made.
Good bye Batista and John Cena, yep, we need a change. I'll make CM Punk a deal he can't refuse and bring Brock Lesnar in to be a full time performer. Roman Reigns will become a major player, Ambrose and Rollins my tag champs. Oh yeah, good bye Wyatts, they suck.
Not sure what to do with Daneil Bryant due to his condition, if he can come back he's my champ with Orton fueding with Punk for the rights to face Bryant. Triple H will go back to wrestling he will be a major player. I'll dump Smackdown, one show is all I need.
Big E Langston
Shaemus
Bad News Barrett
Dolph Ziggler
The USO's
Cody Rhodes
Dustin Rhodes....yep dropping that Golddust bullshit
Giant
Kane
Alberto Del Rio
.....I'd keep, everyone else....see ya! Now I start searching the indies for new talent.

Re: World Wrestling Entertainment thread
Lol last night they finally split the shield in a pretty anticlimactic way
-
Re: World Wrestling Entertainment thread
If all goes well we could have...
Randy Orton
Roman Reigns
John Cena....a heel
Dean Ambrose
Daneil Bryant
CMPunk
Brock Lesnar
TrIple H
Seth Rawlings
all as single competitors. That would be as good as it's been for a long time.

Re: World Wrestling Entertainment thread
WWE releases
JTG - what took them so long?
Drew McIntyre -whatever
Jinder Mahal -whatever
Aksana -whatever
Curt Hawkins -whatever
Theodore Long -whatever
Camacho - Who?
Brodus Clay -whatever
Evan Bourne -whatever
Yoshi Tatsu -whatever
Marc Harris (referee) -Who?
Hornswoggle, Santino, The Below Average Khali, Tensai, Justin Gabriel should be next on the list. Get rid of all the dead weight.
Oh well. I'm sure TNA is licking their chops.

Re: World Wrestling Entertainment thread
I'm starting to think that they're trying to turn Lana into a babyface with her dropping truth bombs about Obama and our U.S. Congress.
