Should have been Spurs-Miami, NBA Fans everywhere were robbed...

Who cares? It's over. It's done.

Re: Justice has been served tonight.
And the curse continues. No team, since the 2002 Lakers, has eliminated the Spurs and raised the LoB trophy. Ten years.

Yup...and each time the team that eliminated the Spurs made the Finals, they were humiliated by the Eastern Conference Champion. :lol
2004
2006
2008
2012

Funny thing, every team that has beaten the Spurs since 08 has lost in the very next round.
2008 - Lakers win WCF against spurs, lose in NBA Finals
2009 - Dallas beats us in the 1st round, get beat by Nuggets in WCSF
2010 - Phoenix swept us in WCSF, get beat by LA in WCF
2011 - Grizzlies win in 1st, lose to Thunder in 2nd
2012 - Thunder beat us in WCF, get backdoor swept in finals by the Heatles

Wouldn't have been a different result.
Maybe worse who knows.
OKC was and is the better team they moved on and got beat by the best team in the NBA.
The only one who was a beef IMO, is Chicago. Healthy rose, they looked unbeatable to me. However, a healthy Miami team vs a healthy led Rose Bulls team would've been one HELL of a Eastern Conference Finals to watch...

Re: Justice has been served tonight.
i think the lakers and spurs wouldve given the heat a run for their money....fkn pathetic showing from stern

Re: Justice has been served tonight.
Thunder are 3 chuckers and scrubs
How we lost to that team is beyond me.

It's actually all about matchups. Miami has POWERFUL trouble with post up big men and super quick PGs. We have both.
-
Re: Justice has been served tonight.
Congrats to OKC for becoming something more than they've ever been for five games. It was nice watching OKC on the other side of those terrible block/charge calls and the no-call goaltends. Doesn't matter, since nobody was going to beat that defense. Miami's going to win the next five or six titles unless someone can build a super team of veterans for one last run (hint hint).
To the Thunder fans that still have the balls to show up here: Those motherfuckers were just better than you were.
-
Re: Justice has been served tonight.
The Thunder lost because they continued to "act" like they were playing basketball instead of playing basketball.

Exactly. In the end they could not move past their reliance on and expectation of getting the calls and their play showed it.

Haha horseshit we have more than jumpshooting which okc lived against us and dies against miami. Besides the shitty calls. And lebron wouldve had bruce nightmares from 07 and wouldve run for his life.

Re: Justice has been served tonight.
Still I would have loved like mad to see us against Miami...
Even though I think we probably loose this that could have been very fun
-
Re: Justice has been served tonight.
Spurs don't inspire fear in other teams. Miami does. Thunder believed they were a better team than SA and played like it. They played scared versus Miami though.
-
Re: Justice has been served tonight.
All the same to me--
OKC was better than SA.
Miami was better than OKC.

This Finals showed that, without the help of the refs, the Thunder aren't that great of a team. All season long they've gotten the benefit of lopsided officiating - and it killed them in the end.
David Stern got what he wanted - Durant vs Lebron; however, he set up the Thunder for a mighty big fail. They thought they were such a great team, when all along, they were good, but made better by the refs. Tough lesson for a young team!

It's all about macthups like everybody been saying. Spurs just got some bad calls/luck, along with a few choking role players who couldn't hit shit. I honestly think the Spurs could of made life more difficult for the Heat, possibly even beat them. If indiana and Boston took them to six/seven games, Spurs would of done the same. I don't think the NBA wanted the Spurs against Lebron cause they would of caused Lebron to shit the bed again.

Bruce Bowen is not walking through that door anytime soon, try again here........ He would have ate up whoever we had on him trying to guard him and got to the line alot! 07 he was a kid, he is much better now and Bruce is retired.

Once again years ago he has gotten alot better, Bowen is not playing anymore.
-
Re: Justice has been served tonight.
I don't think a prime Bruce Bowen would have stopped Lebron yesterday. Lebron would've just outmuscled him every time Bruce would match up to him.
Lebron is just an otherworldly talent on a mission this year.
Let's all hope he suffers from a debilitating championship hangover this next year. I don't see another not team named the Thunder that can oust the Heat in a 7 game series.
-
Re: Justice has been served tonight.
LOL! Are you all just closet cHeat fans???
Honestly, they are weak at a couple positions and Lebron is the NBA's chosen one as far as foul calls.
Spurs woulda beat the cHeat in 6 EZ...if the calls would be half-way reasonable
Too bad Stern made sure we didn't get a chance to see it...

Re: Justice has been served tonight.
The Thunder got backdoor swept. It's interesting that before the Pistons won in '04 there weren't that many teams that had swept the middle three games on their homecourt. Now it's happened 3 times.
-
Re: Justice has been served tonight.
You need better post defense to stop Lebron. A guy like Tyson Chandler.
-
Re: Justice has been served tonight.
Enjoy the NBA super teams. I wanted the Heat fail to put an end to it. I respect a team alot more that built their core through the draft.
