It's pretty sad when Manu had to bail out Argentina against Spain's second string.

Let's face it - if you have pale skin and don't sell shoes, you won't get to the line in the NBA. :hat

pretty sad observation......another spurs title stolen be the league. watch how the officiating in the Olympics somehow doesn't favor NBA "stars" and how fast they get beaten.
-
Re: Brazil - Argentina now
goes to show you that manu was probably raped in that game 6(he was trying hard to win that game) and had 0 fta......fucking unbelievable.
-
Re: Brazil - Argentina now
This idiotic coach is playing manu 34+ minutes in a fucking friendly... We shouldn't count on him being healthy at the start of next season.
He'll run manu into the ground.

to be fair the refs were blindly favoring their team in Argentina. :lol

:lol he always plays a lot of mins in the NT...
The Olympics is a game every other day, there's only one day rest between games all the way to the gold medal game. They have to build that stamina now...

Supposedly the Knicks are thinking about signing him. I've never understood how anyone could think he's an NBA level player.

When the story broke out that he had a meeting with the Knicks GM and dinner with the coach, they said the Knicks were looking for an experienced, vet PG (apparently to work as a mentor to Linn). They have Kidd now to fill that role, so I don't think Prigioni is going anywhere near the NBA. He shouldn't.

Re: Brazil - Argentina now
If Pop can get Manu to play as hard for SA as he does for Argentina, the Spurs should have a good chance to win it all.
Oh wait.

How many nba stars are playing for the US this year?
-
Re: Brazil - Argentina now
Their SFs alone would be All-NBA tier
-
Re: Brazil - Argentina now
Come on guys this was a friendly match agains brazil, manu was not being guarded by neither sefolosha nor harden or any other super athletic guy, less pressure as well.
-
Re: Brazil - Argentina now
That´s Ginobili as first option, Pop chose another one and shrinked...

I was surprised to see him play that many minutes tbh.
-
Re: Brazil - Argentina now
I remember 2010-11 where Manu was the first option. Led to one of the best starts in league history - 28-3 was it?
Then Tim went down, bam, 5 game losing streak. Then Manu broke his elbow in the last season game.
-
Re: Brazil - Argentina now
No Delfino for Argentina
No Marquinhos and Nene for Brazil
12 free throws to ARG only in 1st quarter.. great game.
next week we have the same game, but in Brazil.
