Been following Malcolm Thomas' twitter and he had a workout with the Bobcats on the 13th. Sounds like the interest is mutual, might hear something soon.

Take that back, my source said he did have a workout with the bobcats, but no guarantee. His offer in china is still on the table, heard he was leaning towards taking it

So basically, everyone has learned from the perceived flaw in the Spurs system except for the Spurs. Hmmm :bang.
Well, I think if Bonner is going to be in a line-up, another player (besides the center) with a B2B game should be in the lineup, be it a SG or SF. Maybe not a big, but a player with a post-up game that will be given a few attempts a game - not exactly someone that needs to carry the offense just someone with a reliable 50% shot.

Chris Tomasson
Free-agent Anthony Tolliver said he’s intrigued by Atlanta, a team that has great interest in him.
“I don’t think they have a guy on their roster with that skill set with shooting and versatility,’’ Tolliver said about being a big man who can step out on the floor. When Tolliver was with Cleveland several years ago, Hawks GM Danny Ferry was the GM there. Tolliver also said he has a “really good relationship’’ with Wes Wilcox, then with Cleveland and now Hawks assistant GM.

I agree. They don't need perfect just serviceable.

Nice find. :tu
I'm not really sure Wilkerson turned down that much money in Spain. While top teams still have a lot of money, a lot of other teams have significantly reduced their budget.
Wilkerson contract with Spurs should be something like $50K or $100K guaranteed. Even if he was relatively good with Spurs SL, I find it's an odd choice to spend money on. Spurs are still 3 deep at PF with Diaw, Blair and Bonner. Wilkerson and these 3 players aren't really suited to play SF or C. So unless Spurs do some kind of trades, Wilkerson doesn't fit well with the roster.

Re: Top 15 Bigman Candidates for the Minimum
Some other workout news I found today:

Brian Butch and Warren Carter to workout with the San Antonio Spurs. Darryl Partin to workout with the Celtics next week.

Spurs to work out Reyshawn Terry
Forward Reyshawn Terry will work out for the Spurs next week, agent John Spencer told HoopsHype. Terry was selected in the 44th position in the 2007 by Orlando, but his draft rights were quickly traded to the Dallas Mavericks. The 6-foot-8 forward, a North Carolina product, played in Ukraine last season.
Derrick Brown, Brian Butch and Warren Carter are also reportedly working out for San Antonio this coming week.

Re: Top 15 Bigman Candidates for the Minimum
So basically SA is trying to find the BIG version Gary Neal of this year. Hopefully they can find someone decent.

Re: Top 15 Bigman Candidates for the Minimum
Bonner can be good if he is used properly. I'd keep him over the other bigs on the market.

Well with Blatche reportedly going to the Nets, there isn't much available:
D.J. White
Dominic McGuire
Kenyon Martin
Anthony Tolliver
Darko
-
Re: Top 15 Bigman Candidates for the Minimum
Darko could be an option but he will not take min salary
-
Re: Top 15 Bigman Candidates for the Minimum
I would be happy if we signed Dominic McGuire. He would give a nice boost of defense to the front court.
