Disagree, with both parts. Of course, that statement can be interpreted many ways. The need as viewed by the individual may not be the same as the "need" as we usually define it. (For instance, most people would say I don't "need" a Ferrari, but I might believe I need it.)

No. I rarely watch TV, cut my cable service long ago because of that fact. I rely on an antenna for some local news, and watch Netflix when I want to see something other than my DVD/BluRay collection.
How am I paranoid of the lefties? The damage is already done to this nation. Not much worse can happen now than will already happen. I don't see any way of stopping this nations doom. The entitlement mentality of both major sides rule the elections.
