Interesting to hear Manu put it as "if" he decides to continue to play he'll probably stay with the Spurs. It's sounding more like he will retire after the season. I guess it'll come down to health/injuries and how the Spurs do this season.

From looking at the pictures, all the players seems to be in a good to great shape but I haven't seen a picture of Diaw. The only one, who is fat is, Sherron Collins but it doesn't matter. Something must have happened with Tre'Kelley.
Neal is in a decent shape but he certainly hasn't lost the necessary weight to play PG. Pop should play him only at the SG slot.

Collins looks fat
Collins looks like the current Carlton Banks.
Pop says the same thing about defense every year but I can't take him seriously when he's giving Bonner significant minutes who's just going to flame out during the playoffs anyway. There's no point in preparing him for the postseason. At the same time, they keep looking for score first guards instead of players who can help the team get stops.
Have any of you ever realized the reason the Spurs have been a mere top 10 defense as opposed to a top 8 defense is because Duncan's old, Bowen's gone, and even Manu has lost a step?
:lol
Duncan and Manu have an excuse on defense but everyone not so much. Defense is more about commitment and focus than athleticism.

I wish they'd have those "sights and sounds" videos available again. Those are sweet.
That was hard to watch the Blair interview...
So, who is going to the Open Practice tomorrow?
**
It's early but it seems that the focus is on defense and being more physical overall.
