Pop always says the focus is on defense, but do we have the personnel to become better defensively? Kawhi knowing more about his opponents might help, more Patty than Neall ... Derrick Brown? I do not know ...
The Pop that you keep referencing where he yells at everyone and pulls people out for a missed assignment is long gone, you're right about that. That doesn't mean that he and the team won't be making more of an effort to improve in that department though. Just because he isn't spitting in people's faces anymore on the sideline anymore doesn't mean he isn't doing it in practice.

Not sure how you would know if they are or are not focusing more on defense unless you think they were an average defensive team last season due to effort. I don't believe that to be the case.
