This was my third time voting for president but first time not voting for the lesser of two evils. I voted for Gary Johnson because I agree with most of what he said and believed in. With that being said, I'm sorry but you just don't write down Ron Paul's name this time. You step up to the plate and vote for someone that is actually on the damn ballot. My vote for Paul was as much a protest vote as anything. The RNC changed the rules in the middle of the game. It would have been nice to see Paul win the convention, but i never though that would happen. Either way, I would have voted Republican if they didn't piss me off with the rule change.

Johnson? To be honest, I never cared for a candidate that made it through the libertarian decision process. They tend to be at the fringe edge of libertarianism, bordering on and often crossing into anarchy.

Ron Paul should have bowed out of the GOP primary early and ran as an independent. That would have been the ultimate revenge and a massive fuck you to the GOP. However, he didn't because he didn't want to hurt the future of his son's political future.
